Fun fact: All 4 members are also multilingual speakers they each speak atleast 3 languages. 🔸Jisoo (The girl with darker hair color) - Korean, Japanese, Basic chinese and a lil' bit english ( she may not be fluent in english but she can understand it pretty well so she can communicate using basic english) 🔸Jennie (The girl with the blond hair and black hair) - Korean, English, Japanese and lil' bit french 🔸Rosé ( The girl with silverish purple hair)- English, Korean and Japanese 🔸Lisa (The girl with bangs and short hair + she wore Pink and red wigs in this mv, She's the one who rap) - Thai, English, Korean, Japanese and basic chinese That's why it's much easier for them to switch language while recording, They also casually switch korean to english on their daily conversations. The sets on this music video is hand made from literally just scratch, No cgi or special effects ( In all of their music videos in their almost 5 years of career are known for its HIGH quality production they only used green screen on their debut song that just lasted probably 10 seconds in the official mv)
You probably heard How You Like That somewhere before because BLACKPINK did set 5 Guinness World Records with How You Like That. BLACKPINK is the biggest girl group right now. BLACKPINK have 4 members, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo. All 4 of them can sing, dance, play instruments, and write their songs. Jennie and Lisa (the one with the bangs) are also rappers. Rosé is a Korean born in New Zealand, but live in Australia. Jennie is a Korean born in South Korea, but live in New Zealand. Jisoo is the only Korean member who grew up in South Korea. Lisa is Thai. Now, all of them live together in South Korea. You can't see their full dance choreography in their music videos, but you can see it in their dance practice videos and live performances. Lisa is also the best dancer among them. She also release her own dance videos on her own RU-vid channel, Lilifilm Official. She also did live solo dance performances. She is also an awesome strict and lovable dance mentor. Jennie also recently start her own RU-vid channel, Jennierubyjane Official, where she will upload her own videos and do cover songs. BLACKPINK have been breaking records after records ever since their debut in 2016. The crazy thing is that they released only singles and mini-albums (1-4 songs each) until October 2, 2020 when they released their first full album, THE ALBUM. By the time they release THE ALBUM, they already have 3 music videos (4 music videos now) with more than a billion views. With THE ALBUM, they have a total of about 23 songs. THE ALBUM was ranked #1 on Gaon (Korean music chart like Billboard), #2 on Billboard 200, Billboard World Album Chart, #1 on Billboard Top Album Sale, #1 and Top 10 in many countries such as UK, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and China. Lovesick Girls, the title track for THE ALBUM, was ranked #2 on US Billboard 200, #1 on Billboard Global Excl. US, #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sale, #1 and top 10 in many countries such as Malaysia, China, and Singapore. How You Like That, their pre-release single for THE ALBUM, set 5 Guinness World Records. They even got their 3rd PAK (Perfect All Kill) with it. PAK is a term referring to a song that was rank #1 on all of Korean music charts. BLACKPINK officially become the first girl group ever to be ranked #1 on Billboard Artists 100 and #1 on Bloomberg. They already performed at the Coachella in 2019 and their live performance are the highlight performance at that time. They are also currently the most subscribed music group on RU-vid with more than 60 million subscribers. They are also the most followed female music group on Spotify, surpassing Little Mix in 2019. You can learn more about them from their Netflix documentary, BLACKPINK Light Up The Sky. BLACKPINK was recently praised by the Korean president Moon Jaein for their worldwide accomplishments in 2020. They currently planning to release solo albums for each members in 2021 after doing their online concert, The Show. No, they are not disbanding. Please, react to BLACKPINK Boombayah and Whistle. These 2 songs are their debut songs released in 2016. While Boombayah is a bigger international hit, they got their first PAK with Whistle, thus making them the first and only Korean girl group to achieve this feat with a debut song. Make sure to turn on the caption to see the English subtitle. 😎🙏
Lisa is my bias ...she is the one who is rapping and she actually danced to city girls so pleas react to it!!and she is also the main dancer of blackpink..love ur reaction ♥️♥️plz react more to blackpink
It's called K-POP (korean pop) people these days use it for every south korean songs but actually you got a lot of styles rnb, rap, electro, rock... not only pop BLACKPINK got a song with selena gomez it's called "ice cream"
If you love “ City girl - chris brown “ you must watch “LILIFILM 4 “ dance performance of LISA the girl with bang and rapper please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 btw i love your reaction so much please react more about blackpink and Lisa .

After that it’s up to my supporters to watch.
its good that he researched about them,I saw inhis other video. Some people who react to this just blindly hate on them, back in 2017 or so I was also really confused but now because of blackpink I was able to know alot more about kdramas and other kpop groups. Since I watch kpop related things everday,I kind of understand what theyre talking about now lol
damn thx for reacting to blackpink! they’re dope af. btw rosé, lisa and jennie are all fluent in english, jisoo understands it and can speak it but like she’s not as fluent as the other members; she’s my fav lol anyway thx again, hope we see more reactions in the futuree
Rosé(purple hair): she is a korean but she was born in New Zealand and grow up in Australia Jennie(lock of white hair):she was born in Korea and she studied in New Zealand Lisa(black short hair):she was born in Thailand and she can speak english like the two others Jisoo: she was born in Korea and she can speak a little bit english since she has never learned. It is the other members who learn to speak.
@@dftyut5354 Korean is her ethnicity. Doesn’t change the fact that she was born in New-Zealand and raised in Australia. Rosie also mostly talks about herself as Australian. But basically she’s Korean-NewZealander. Bc apparently she never had an Australian nationality eventhough she was raised there. People from New-Zealand can residence in Australia without an Australian nationality and the other way around too bc of how close the 2 countries are i have heard
@@btstrasharmyexo-lbaekiesha2776 Even if she was born in another country, this does not mean that she is not Korean. This is related to the origins of her father and grandparents. If they are Corin, then it is Korea.
@@dftyut5354 I never said she’s not Korean love. Read the comments, i said Korean is her ETHNICITY, do you know what ethnicity means? I hope you do lol. She’s born and raised elsewhere, so unless she herself didn’t do a demand for a Korean nationality then she’s only Korean by ethnicity and nothing more. (But i do think she did a demand for it now) Your Nationality is the most important thing fyi. For example bc of COVID-19 many countries asked their citizens to comeback to the country, if Rosé didn’t do a demand for a Korean nationality (which i think she did btw) then only New-Zealand will send her a demand to comeback home.

This kinda ‘basic beat’ isn’t something i’d add to my playlist too, but ya’ll gotta understand K-pop is not just pop music it is so DIVERSE. From hip-hop, r&b, EDM, rock, to every genre, you name it K-Pop HAS IT! Ya’ll need to get into the most diverse kpop group, Stray Kids for sure! they don’t disappoint. React to God’s Menu, Easy, and Double Knot!!!
Did somebody really call this “basic beat”??!cause they need to listen again or google the song’s information. I’m surprised. But I agree that K-pop is diversity and uniqueness where every group has their own vibe and aura which follows respect :)
K-Pop is Korean Pop Music. It incorporates many styles such as Rap, Pop, Hiphop and Rock but also usually has it's own Korean style as well. K-Pop is not only the music, it's also about the performance and the visual aspect. BLACKPINK is kind of next-level K-Pop, they're almost considered World Music now because of their appeal to both Eastern and Western countries. They're with YG Entertainment, one of the "BIG 3" K-Pop companies, and they're also signed with UMG/Interscope for all promotion outside Asia. They Killed It at Coachella in 2019, the founder of Coachella flew to S. Korea to personally invite them. The reason that their fans (BLINKS) are so crazy about them is that besides their great music they're very humble, sweet "adorkable" girls offstage, just as surprised at their popularity as their fans. Check out their great Netflix documentary BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY or on RU-vid check out BLACKPINK: JOURNEY AND FRIENDSHIP to learn more about their journey.

THANK YOU FOR THIS REACTION VIDEO! How You Like That was one of 2020 bangers that was went viral. It was released in June so it’s reasonable that some of the guys felt like it sounded and they heard it before. ITS FIREEE ❤️
I don't wanna be a hater, but here's some constructive criticism: Two central elements in good reaction videos, is 1 - an open mind, and 2 - revealing your thought process as you progress through the video. Apart from the guy who's clearly hosting the channel, the whole crew were in a closed mindset from the beginning, and had nothing to add as the song moved on, until they were forced to say something in the end. From start to finish it seemed like "Hey, we're too cool for this. Nothing's gonna impress us. Especially not some girl group from Korea.", and the rest of the group tagged along with that standpoint as it seemed the social right thing to do in your friend circle. That was kinda painful to watch - as I feel like some of you were impressed by it, but didn't call it out, in fear of the others' judgement. But regardless what their standpoint was, and what you think of the song - this is something everyone should be surprised by in some way: The beat production (and its crazy changes), the different singers, the attitude, the rapping, the lyrics, the dance choreography, the scene setup. Whether you liked it or not, those are talking topics that we as viewers are interested in your opinions on - and you missed a lot of good opportunities for making great reaction content there. I hope I don't come off as a hater - it's just some constructive criticism that I hope you'll consider for your future videos :)

They are all multilingual. The first one with two-toned blond hair is JENNIE. She's a korean but lived in New zealand for 5 years and also speak japanese and basic french. JISOO (The second one with brown hair) she's the oldest of the group, she doesn't speaking english but she can understand it and she can speak Japanese and basic Chinese. ROSÉ (light purple hair?) is Korean but born in New zealand and moved to Australia so english is her first language and also can speak japanese. LISA ( short hair with bangs) she's from Thailand so she can speak Thai, English, Korean, Japanese and basic Chinese.
Blackpink is fire and definitely a good start if you’re gonna get into kpop… just a random fact all the blackpink members can speak english, not to mention theres lots of english in the majority of kpop songs, its always a mix with english AND korean which is pretty cool, I HIGHLY recommend yall check out “Bad boy” by a girl group Red Velvet.
I am pretty new to Black Pink even tho I've heard of them for the last few years. I think the singer you all liked is actually from Thailand. She now had to learn Korean language etc and she tries to teach her band mates on tour, a bit of Thai. So yeah just a little fact for ya!
Lisa she is thai and joined this group in S-Korea Thai is her fist language and she can speak English so well, and like 8 years a go she tried so hard to learn Korean bcoz she wanna be Korean Idol, and now her dream bcome true
Answering your question, if all of them know English. Well, Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé speak it fluently because Rosé is from New Zealand, Jennie lived in New Zealand and Lisa knows 4 languages including Thai, Korean, English, Japanese, and a little bit of Chinese. On the other hand, Jisoo understands English but it's shy to speak it.
@@KrustyVlogs yeah, Rosé is my bias (favorite member). She has an Aussie accent that will DESTROY you, no lie! . She just dropped two solo music videos a few weeks ago, check out her music video ON THE GROUND (it's all English), it broke two Guinness World Records already!

Normal schedule 6 day weeks with 1 day off every other week. Each month they were required to perform a solo, duet, and group song plus a dance routine for evaluation. Songs were covers that they arranged. Check out the MV "Sure Thing" that they performed for evaluation as trainees. They did the arrangement and Jennie and Lisa wrote the rap lyrics (there is no rap in the original).

React to ( a crack guide to blackpink 2020) you well hear them speaking English and you well see their personalities and Rose is actually Australian she speaks fluent English cuz she’s Australian and Jennie is Korean but lived in New Zealand for about 6 years so she speaks English fluently too and Lisa literally like speaks 5 languages so she’s fluent at English too and she’s from Thailand but jisoo is the only one that doesn’t speak English but all the members help her improve her English since they speak English
the success is immaculate like bp popularity is so large compared to other groups because they come from one of the biggest companies in South Korea and the fact that 2NE1's disbanded was close to their debut date made them seem like the second but much cuter version of their sunbae - just wish they write the songs
