It would be unfair to compare vfx of this movie with marvel or some other Hollywood stuff. Movies of such genre and scale in USA are made on a minimum budget of 100-150 Million USD. This movie is made on a budget of 300 cr rupees, which is just 38 Million USD. Considering the budget i think the vfx is damn good. I really hope this movie surprises us with it's storyline and screenplay.

PPP only describes the living cost. When you do tremendous things, PPP doesn't matter because all the software, framework, and tools used have the same price worldwide. And those are the things that cost the most. Nowadays, even actors' fees are not counted in the budget because a massive percentage of their fees depends on the box office. And box office is where PPP comes in. We can watch a movie for 2-3$ in India. In contrast, in the USA, they pay 13-15$ [Avg], so the movie producers get their money back quickly, so double disadvantage for Indian Cinema and their producers.
This story carries Indians religious sentiments it's our culture it's the ancient holy epic those Astras are not fake or made up story it's our holy texts those epics which we heard as a child and now as an adult feel pride . This is emotion and sentiments we feel for ourselves and our history . Epics like Mahabharata and ramayana is not just frictional tale these tales are proven and supported by evidence .... I am waiting for this movie though it's not related to truthness of these epic it's frictional but somewhat idea you know the concept excites me because it's new and it's huge .

Sir Urduwood is fooling you all and this is no propaganda. *Urudwood failed heavily losing millions of dollars in previous years owing to general viewership prefering historical accuracy and epic scale films with well researched dialogues and drama compared to the scores of Urduwood sell outs which includes this. They are just flexing their muscles a bit to seem like they understood the public sentiment ! Now they hopefully have understood that without viewership they won't even be able to pay their property taxes or have daily meals ! Indian Film Industry needs serious reforms* That is why this.

1 tip for your future reactions, make sure to do your research about the movies before you resort to any comparison. I don’t know how old Greek mythology is but the Hindu mythology is probably one of the oldest epics written till date. I don’t care which other scriptures are similar to our scriptures or wether they were copied or inspired from our books. All I know is one fact and that is the storyline for this movie is solely based on our own Indian mythology and nothing else. I will give it to the western film industry, they did inspire us to make movies about our own historical gems but that’s it. These books/ epics have been a part of our culture and have been greatly celebrated before marvels or Percy Jackson were ever hyped. I am not religious but I do treasure these literary pieces that were created during the earliest moments of intellectual human civilisation. The whole thing is actually quite fascinating -as in the history of these epics and the lifestyle of all the people living during that era. If you are interested, you may wanna do some research on it yourself. That will not only allow you to understand the significance of these scriptures but it will also deepen your interest in the movies and the scriptures in general too. There are so many more literary pieces that our culture has to offer.

For those who don't know what is brahmastra - Brahmastra was a weapon like nuclear weapon at Mahabharata and ramayana times , which can fully destroy all humans , animals and plants of a particular area . Only ashvthama used this weapon at the end of Mahabharata , but shree krishna stopped it . It was morally restricted to use this weapon in any war .

I think 'ASTRA' are DIVINE weapons which can only be evoke by Special Mantra. And 'SHASTRA' are normal Weapons. Bow and other launching weapons are called 'Shastra' too but if you evoke divine weapons while launching it, it will be became 'Astra'. Also You don't necessarily need launching weapons to evoke Astras. As Lord Rama had once evoked Brahmastra on grass.
