I LOVE Girls Aloud, they were always ahead of the game, making great music with an unique sound!

Girls Aloud actually have more hit songs here in the UK than the spice girls. They were huge and so was Cheryl’s solo career

Girls Aloud were head and shoulders above all the others. The song writing was on a whole other level. You should listen to the track Biology, which is probably one of the greatest pop songs ever written.

Sadly Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud (the blonde lass) passed away from breast cancer. RIP Sarah ❤

So many girl groups that wasn’t on the list Part two please Eternal -I wanabe the only /step from heaven /angel of mine / Sugarbabes-overload -run for cover -push the button Misteeq -Scandalous-why? - M.o -wondering -bad vibes -not in love Flo -card box Stooshe -black heart -love me

This is one of the things that us Brits can be proud of. I loved all of these.

Little Mix, Sugababes & Spice girls were the 🐐 girl groups from the UK, Girls aloud & eternal & the Saturdays had some bops too

Bananarama and Girls Aloud = BRILLIANT.

That small island across the pond, they have bags of musical talent, I mean the best selling band of all time the Beatles hailed from there

Both Atomic Kitten and Blondie covered "The Tide is High" (AK in the 00s, Blondie in the 80s) from a 60s group called The Paragons. 😊

surprised sugarbabes wasn’t in here they are my literal childhood😂, also fun fact don’t know how many parents from the uk did this but my mum used to make a joke from the atomic kitten song instead of you can make me whole again when i got older she says you can fill my whole again and i now can’t hear that song the same😂😂

Fun fact Madonna credits Bananarama as a HUGE influence on her iconic eighties look.

Girls Aloud had the best song writers out of these groups. Some great pop songs.

It isn't possible to do Best British girl groups and not include Sugababes, they are far more iconic than a lot of the groups on this list

Basically just my childhood music to a tea. I loved the spice girls back in the day. 2 members of The Saturday's were in S Club Junior (who later were S Club 8) who were a junior group of a mixed pop ground from my childhood called S Club 7.

Girl groups are really a big 'guilty' pleasure of mine (even tho I don't feel guilty at all :p) very nice video you guys! Maybe it would be cool to do some Eurovision video's since they were quite successful and you really seemed to enjoy doing them as well? There are recaps from almost every year, and every country, and every pre-selection, so many nice idea's :)

Oh you totally should have listened to a different song by girls aloud... They have such an extensive catalog that is way better than the promise..., love machine is pretty damn awesome!

First time I've seen your video's and I really enjoyed it. My personal favourite from this group is All Saints. Two of the members are sisters. The movie 'The Beach,' had a tite song from All Saints in it. Girls Aloud were founded through the show Popstars the Rivals which was a forerunner of X factor. Cheryl has been a judge on a few different shows and Nicola Roberts (the ginger girl) won the first series of The Masked Singer in the UK. Sadly the blonde one, Sarah Harding, died last year after losing her battle with cancer at the age of 39.

As a major UK girl band enthusiast I would love to give u some new suggestions and some (I believe) better songs of the artists u already covered. I am actualy proud of your knowledge! U should check Cheryl - she's got 5#1 songs in Uk for really long time it was the most for any female. Ot took her 5 yesrs ( little mix has got five too amd took them almost 10 years) Check her performance of Fight for this love on x-factor it was her debut

The reason the atomic kitten video is so basic is they were about to be dropped. They begged the record label to put out whole again as their last song so the video was shot on a shoe string budget. It’s a good job they did though because the song was an absolute monster of a hit, was number one for weeks and they ended up having many successful years after. It’s a crime you didn’t react to the sugababes though!
