Chinese Gods are more similar with Greek Gods, the image and function are close to human society. Most of time Chinese Gods are more like wishing pools for people😂 By the way none of the 7 buildings is famous in China😂

Chinese buffets are very rich, with 100 to 800 dishes. Some buffet restaurants also provide free cocktails, red wine, sake and Chinese wine.

Yeah they are Chinese Gods. Most likely from Taoism (道教). It's considered both a religion and a philosophy. We have a lot of that in Taiwan.

Those so called gods are local belief deities.

Basically, besides the innate primitive gods and natural gods, many Taoist gods come from ordinary people. For example, if a real person in history has made outstanding contributions or is admired in a certain aspect, people will ask the Taoist Heavenly Court to appoint him/her as a deity after his/her death. For example, Guan Yu, the general of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period, is now known as the God of Wealth and the God of Martial Arts in Taoism. All business people, out of superstition, will worship a statue of him in the store to pray for wealth. For example, hundreds of years ago in Fujian Province, there was a woman who made outstanding contributions to fishermen. Now people call her "Mazu" (mother+ancestor). We built a temple for her, and the people of Fujian Province worship her every year during the Chinese New Year. You can see that in China, religion has realism. It is humans who dominate the gods and change them according to human needs, rather than blindly seeing oneself as a subordinate/slave of the gods.

2:55 There is no absolute relationship between Chinese gods and religion, but they can be summarized within the religious system. As a reference, it's like your parents, elders, and village chiefs naturally exist there. God must have function and be beneficial to people in order for them to like him. For example, a Chinese person does not believe in any religion, but he will worship the God of Wealth, Ancestor, Earth God, Blessing God, Life God, City God, Martial God, Exam God, etc. on corresponding days, just hoping to add some luck to himself. But you can find these gods in one system, which is Taoism. If people pass by a Buddhist temple, they will also offer incense to pray for peace, but it does not mean that they are Buddhists. Religion in China is not exclusive and people enjoy great religious freedom. People can also become Christians or inherit Islamic beliefs from their ancestors. (But legitimate religions are absolutely not allowed to be related to politics)

In China, even immortals perform their respective duties, and the three old gods you see represent luck, many children, and longevity. God of Fortune is also the god of Jupiter. Who is Lu (many children God)? There are various opinions, such as: Emperor Zitong of Wenchang: According to legend, Zhang Yu of Zitong rebelled against Fu Jian of the Former Qin Dynasty during the Jin Dynasty, resulting in his death in battle. In Taoism, he was appointed by the Jade Emperor to oversee the affairs of Wenchang Prefecture and human fame and position, hence also known as "Zitong Emperor" or "Wenchang Emperor". Zhang Xian: Legend has it that he is the God of Zhang Yuanxiao, who can be bestowed upon the descendants of the world. Ji Chang: The father of King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty (over two thousand years ago), who was a wise monarch of the Zhou Dynasty. Legend has it that he originally had ninety-nine sons, and then took Lei Zhenzi as a hundred sons, hence the meaning of having one hundred sons and one thousand grandsons. The Antarctic Immortal is the god of longevity in Chinese mythology, also known as the Longevity Star or the Elderly Star (in Taoism, it is sometimes believed that the stars/positions in the sky represent certain immortals in the heavenly realm). The Antarctic Immortal is considered a lucky star for longevity, often referred to as "Fu Lu Shou" along with the two immortals of Fu Xing and Lu Xing, ranking third among the three immortals. The image is mostly of an old immortal with a bald forehead, white beard and hair, and a rosy face, often holding crutches, peaches (representing longevity in Chinese culture), and other objects.

Chinese gods are ancestors. Most of them once existed in History but the people worshipped them due to a good deed or something great they did for the people and they built temples for that person to worship. As time went by, they become gods.
