I used to catch the B2 school bus, which was 1 of around 5-10 double decker buses which my school had, for around 1000 people. The B2 school bus contained the coolest people obviously. People who lived in the middle of nowhere or who preferred to get a bus/train closer to their house, would get a normal bus into the city centre, which was 1.9 miles to the top end of town just 5 minutes walk South of 1 of the 2 train stations in the city centre, or 2.8 miles to the main bus and train station at the bottom end of town. I lived and still live on a road where I have countless travel options. There's 5+ buses just 0.2 miles North-West of me. There's 10+ buses just 0/4 miles South-East of me. There's a couple of hourly buses less than a 90 metres across the road (albeit by a different bus company, with different bus passes). And there used to be a bus outside my house 35 metres away, which circled the main part of the city, passing the emergency hospital and my old school, through the city centre, then finishing where it started back outside my house again, however that bus doesn't exist anymore, as they claimed that it wasn't used enough so cancelled it around 10 year ago. Plus I'm just 1.5 to 2 miles miles from the 2 train stations in the city centre.
