That is the famous Batu Caves Murugan Temple, of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The Hindu Festival of Thaipusam falls between mid-January and mid-February, and is observed grandly with devotees carrying simple 'kavadies', 'Paal Kudam' (Milk Pots) over their shoulders or atop their heads for Paal Kudam'. The more elaborate kavadies are huge with some metal structure made in a way to sit on the shoulders and supported with a bely around the waist. The Peacock feathers used are real. Skewers are pierced onto the body, with another skewer pieced through the cheeks. Some may also have a small skewer pierced on their protruded tongue. There are a few more variations. The devotees bearing this kavadies, accompanied by musicians family and friends, have to walk up the 272 steps on the hill to reach the cave on the hill where there is another Temple. The Festival attracts over 2 million visitors, including foreigners. This music video, could not have been made during the Festival due to the huge crowd of people. This would of been produced during normal days.
