You did actually see their reaction to the clay pieces. They get the pottery back in the 49th episode when they do their award show. They're sitting on the table in front of them and they talk about them a little.

I love this episode, it's so chaotic and fun haha Also: bts has dropped few solo projects lately, it'd be nice to see a combined reaction (RM: "wildflower" and "still life", Jimin: "Set me free pt. 2" and "like crazy", Suga as Agust D: "People pt. 2" and new mv he will be releasing this Friday)

The "Thing(?)" that V made actually became kind of an inside joke among the members after that lol. You would remember them talking about it as "Squirrel" or "Squirrel in the garden" in their other cooking episodes

In ep 49 and 50 BTS does an award show for the past episodes and they have the pottery there...in ep 49 they look at it very briefly pick up a few pieces and make some comments but I don't think they mention it again the rest of the show. You watched those ep which is I think why you wanted to watch the pottery epidemic in the first place :) but they really didn't talk about them a lot.

I've done pottery for years so I was really looking forward to this episode the first time I watched it but it is so frustrating to watch because I just want to be able to give them tips the whole time I'm watching. It really takes several classes to get the hang of throwing pottery, by the end of my first six sessions I had a handful of items that were somewhat functional, lol.

With why the pieces look a little different at the end. Once the clay is a little more dry you trim off excess around the bottom. Experienced throwers can throw without needing much trimming but for beginners the shape is gonna change quite a bit once you trim them and they look a lot better. Even for people who have been throwing for a while with certain shapes you have to leave a bit more on the bottom for support until it dries more, especially if the pieces are large or very wide.
