#topgear #british #americanreacts Patreon: Patreon.com/cityboyshq Top Gear is one of the funniest shows that we have watched. Although it is a bit older, it is still a gem of a show. Top Gear in Alabama is extremely hilarious.
If u thought that was gnarly then check out their Patagonian trip episode. Seems some Argentinean's still harbour a grudge over the Falklands war.😂 It was genuinely terrifying for the guys and all their support teams.
it had nothing to do with PG, the bbc didnt get rid of them, jeremy clarkson, hit one of the crew on set, and was sacked, they wanted the other two to continue but they said no not without jeremy, so end of the best show, ridiculous
Its more complex than that and many feel there is an argument to be made, that Clarkson was set up: the BBC had planned for years to get rid of him, but he held the Rights to the show. In 2012, the BBC managed to con him into selling the rights to the BBC....then lo and behold, they fired him. Then look what they did to the new, 'sanitized' uncontroversial Top Gear....and the ratings TANKED!!
To be fair, the BBC didn't sack Clarkson. He and Willman owned TG by then and eventually sold it back to the BBC. Clarkson was then on repeat contracts as an independent presented and the BBC just didn't renew it.
indeed, but there is speculation that the management of the Beeb had long wanted rid of Clarkson, because they had no control over him. For some reason, top brass assumed May and Hamster would stay on, after Clarkson left, reflecting just how out of touch they were. Look at what happened when the BBC finally got full and total control of that show, after the holy trinity had left...very sad to see it crash and burn, but no surprise to anyone, really....@@user-kr9pj4xv8l
And he was on his final warning. The BBC had no choice but to sack him. The head of the BBC did say that if he had a choice he would have kept Clarkson on.
@@daveofyorkshire301 A picturesque light crime show set in the Caribbean, entering its 15th (?) series. The first two series starred Ben Miller - outstanding - then it turned a bit rubbish after he left IMO.
There’s an even scarier stunt they pull in Argentina where they were shot at and rammed while trying to get to Chile, the camera crew were also attacked. The slogans were all Falklands war related where we kicked their arses but it was very dodgy until they only just managed to get across the border. Well worth a watch.
There were no Falklands war related slogans. One of the cars had a (genuine) License plate that was "H982 FKL" and that was all for some Argentine nutters to attack them andchase them out of the country.
not anymore unfortunately. amazon wanted to renew it but they decided they didnt want to do it full time anymore. they will have a special from time to time but not any regular show
By the way chaps, Top Gear didn't let these 3 presenters go because they wanted to be "PG", Jeremy Clarkson (the tall fat one) punched a producer because they hadn't arranged hot catering on a shoot and the BBC had to sack him. They went to Amazon and do the Grand Tour series 👍
all the stereotypes these 3 ever did on top gear are always hilarious. Rest of the world laughs, and americans take offense lol, which makes it funnier lol
My excuse if I got "NASCAR SUCKS" on my car: "Some bloody teenagers graffitied my car after I said Gordon Lightfoot is better than any modern trash music".
They did this in Argentina too and nearly died I seem to recall. Driving around with “the Falkland’s are British” or something with Union Jacks waving all over the place!! That’s an actual enemy of the state that we were at war with 30 years earlier!! How they managed to survive these things 😂😅
You recalled wrong...no flags or slogans...just a coincidence with a license plate, that was all. Also they didn't "nearly die", they just had to abandon the shoot and were flown out of the country whereas the crew and their vehicles were attacked on their escape route to Chile.
So let's get this straight you are charging people to react to a clear video when the video in question is free to watch on RU-vid in the best quality it can possibly be in
I agree. I’ve seen close-up how tv companies operate on a few occasions. They’re cynical and do anything they can to falsely dramatise their productions!
