@@Yaduvanshi6318 not really.. It was his reply to the australian team who made the statement "we have plans to stop virat" and "he won't score runs as he did in 2014" in the press meet before the test series started.
Bro the AB deviliar batting that you saw was from one day match & this one is test match which played for 5 days. In test match you have to be more technical and can't play risky shot since you have all the time in the world. In test match it's more about patience and focus & surviving. But in one day, you have to chase a score in limited overs, so you have to play risky shots.
Yes, every single ball the batsman faces they have a plan.. where and how to hit.. sachin Tendulkar one of the greatest batsman, the god of world cricket, usually has 3 different shots for every single ball he plays.. bowlers keep varying the line , length and pace and batsmen keep adapting.. dats the beauty of cricket 😊
It is such a pleasure to watch you two gents watch cricket and react, a sport which you've not played or watched in real life. Your "sports intelligence" and ability to relate and understand is phenomenal. If I was a rich man, I'd pay for you to travel to a major cricket tour or tournament, and be on the road watching a whole bunch of games (and maybe playing a bit on the side, casually). You're warmed this old guys heart, totally. Thank you.
Its about timing, reading the speed of the ball, less of a force and direction. If the ball is going left side outward then the batsman would show the bat towards the ball and the ball would get less inverted force and the angle the batsman would make is towards a gap in that left direction. This is more applicable if the bowler is a fast bowler. Hit like if you understood this.
VIRAT ONLY HIT FOURS SINGLES AND DOUBLES CAUSE IT WAS A TEST MATCH. TEST MATCH IS PLAYED FOR FIVE DAYS AND ITS NOT A LIMITED OVER MATCH LIKE t20 OR ODI50.THAT’S A FORMAT WHERE A BETTER GETS A CHANCE TO SHOW HOW CLASSY HE IS! BATSMAN IN TEST IS KEEN TO STAY AS LONG AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT GETTING OUT AND A PLAY SLOW AND GET HIS TEAM A WIN! WHICH SHOWS THE ABILITY AND SKILL OF THE BATSMEN.(BEING CLASSY IN CRICKET REPRESENTS HITTING THE BALL WITH PERFECT STORKS) AND THE MOST CLASSIEST STORKE IS THE COVER DRIVE.(AND VIRAT KOHLI IS THE KING OF COVER DRIVE)

Your fingers must be under the balls. And this happens often in cricket these decisions are mostly controversial because there is no proper evidence to declare it out or not out
That is definitely not a legal catch. It's not the first time these kinds of cheatings that has happened in Australia. These umpires ruin the game with their petty bias.
When Virat scored a century (100 runs) next to that said 214. Which means, at that time he faced 214 balls or pitches. And it says 310 minutes. So Virat was hitting for 5 hours straight without getting out. That is the beauty of test cricket. All about endurance and mental strength to keep on hitting and being strategic to not get out and not get tired. That’s not something you see baseball players do. They don’t stay and hit for 5 hours straight.
@@KratosIsSick baseball pitchers have a limited pitching area. Cricket you got Yorker bouncer length balls body line bouncers all that at around 85-95mph at all different lines and length cricket is 10* more complicated that baseball.

I was raised on Test Cricket ... I LOVE this precise work. The best Cricketers, those with intelligence and finesse, there's nothing to match it. :)So glad you appreciate it. (and I guess folk have already told you he was signing that his bat was talking).
Before this match australian bowler pat cummins said that virat won't score a centuary in this series, so virat's celebration simply means that he let the bat do the talking. He is an ultra talented and really a legend of the game. One of a kind 👑
I was so lucky to see Virat play a 20/20 match at The Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Grounds at Woolloongabba) a couple years back and wow... when he came out to bat, the stadium started vibrating from all the Indians (even us Aussies) cheering.
Test cricket where they play in all whites is dominated by the bowlers thats why its harder to hit like the highlight you watched of AB devilliers is an ODI cricket its not Test cricket it is the hardest form of cricket so he had no choice but to play it technically because Its the hardest form of cricket
This is test match. A format goes for 5 days. You cannot go hitting sixes from 1st ball. You have to understand conditions, bowling, respect them, take time run between wickets hitting gaps and when u want to hit six u choose correct ball by minimizing risk.
It’s not only the pro players who use the gaps, anyone who has played at a school level uses the gaps and angles. It’s just the skill which these guys do it with that sets them apart
White dress cricket requires this much of safe shots. U need to be consistent rather than risking ur wicket in flying shots, because the game is going to last for 5 long days. This is not one day / limited over (bowls) game, it is all about testing the stamina, consistency and persistence of a team.
Sometimes while zooming it looks like touching grass, but it actually isn't. If ball touches ground, it can't be given out. Sometimes it becomes controversial at times. Because technology isn't full proof.
He makes it look easy that is why Kohli is highly rated. In reality getting your head in line with the ball each delivery with a perfect grip on the bat and middle most of the pitches thrown at you is really hard! The Australians bowling at him are top class bowlers and he still made it look easy. It is a testament to Kohli's work ethic and fitness. He is the Ronaldo of cricket and takes him as his inspiration. Try playing any level of cricket with perfect form and grip. Your hands will loose the grip halfway.
The reason for the different style of batting from ABD's fastest hundred is that it is a test match. In tests, batsmen need to bat time; otherwise they will be terribly exposed with up to 5 days to play. This puts more of an emphasiis on timing and technique so as to reduce the risk, particularly in not going aerial. Some batsmen have timing so good that a little bit of an extension of a forward defence will send the ball to the boundary. An along the ground boundary 4 is great value for the amount of risk when you compare it to going aerial for six and which is why theree tend to be a lot fewer 6's in Tests. When you see top order batsmen smashing multiple 6's in tests they are really taking the piss.
@RealFansSports , I think the reason he is playing all technical is because it is a test match which happens for 5 days. Normally, you don't see people leave a ball if it is a ODI or T20 format.
@@RealFansSports the video you watched is of test cricket ( red ball cricket) where 1 game takes place for 5 days Very few sixes are hit in test cricket format Whereas White ball cricket game is 1 day game ( ODI match of 50 overs) 50 over cricket world cup will take place in India in October this year btw T20 match (20 overs match ) T20 takes place for 3 hours Most sixes in these to format
Before the series started the an Australian player said in the press conference that they will not let kohli score a single century in the whole series...the Australian media also played dirty about it (which they always does with every sub continent teams)...so when kohli scored the century he did the " i let my bat talk" celebration.
1. At 6:22- let the bat do the talking. 2. Overall batsman has to remember where the fielder at. Now how the bowler bowls n how the bat meet the ball at certain time .. n pressure on the bat will describe where the shot placed far near or sometime mistakenly caught by fielder (90% which happens when batsman is under stress or 10% if not attentive).
Bro kohli is currently the best batsman with best technicaal skills and with best records tooo he has broken many records in last 16 years and yet continuing to chase some more big records seems he will reach it before his retirement .And to olay for so many years need so much fitness he has all that yet no one can beat him in fitness .
All three standard formats of the game are played differently. T20 is the shortest format, Gets wrapped in 3-4 hours which means more power hitting to try to give as much target they can give to opposition. One Day lasts for 7-8 hours, Where they usually try to play mix of technical style plus power hitting to save the wickets, Once they reach the end of the innings with more wickets in hand, They do power hitting to make maximum runs, That's what ABD did in that match at the end in that fastest 100 video you saw, That's usually how T20 cricket is played, High paced cricket. Here Virat is playing a test match which lasts for 5 days, So, He is not in a hurry to make runs but at the same time, He needs to make runs & not loose his wicket, So they play slowly, carefully with less risk & more technical shots. T20- 20 overs per innings One day -50 overs per innings Test - 90 overs per day. I enjoy the fast paced one, So, I prefer watching T20 cricket but each format have it's own charm. Though, T20 is more popular in today's time.
There have been some amazing moments in the test cricket which absolutely deserve their own highlights. Ben stokes at headingley vs Aus, Shamar Joseph at The gabba vs Aus are some of the latest ones I can think of.
What makes it dangerous? Someone in our chat was just mentioning there are differences that favor bowlers over batters. But it’s a part of the game we still don’t understand fully.
@@RealFansSports the pitch dryness, the cracks on it, and the amount of grass present on the pitch, these all are the factors that makes different types of pitch which favours different types of things, perth has very fast and bouncy pitch which makes it difficult for the batters to read the ball that fast but virat is someone who always looks to hit the ball after completing observing and reading it that's why he's called the batter with pure class and timings, he's just doesn't looks to hit the ball hard, he always looks to hit the ball with placement and timing, that's why his shots are so classy and smooth Perth is one of the hard pitch to bat on in front of fast bowlers as the ball swings more here
Don’t really care. That’s who we are and not changing. There are plenty of reactors out there that just sit watch and milk in views and money with no care for the sport
@@macdac9861 lol. Don’t get me wrong we know we talk a lot and we have tried talking less but just didn’t feel right. So it’s one of those things where we put out what we enjoy and if others like it great. If some don’t, then that’s fine as well there are plenty out there
@@RealFansSports Yes you are stupid fucks who do not understand the information they are giving you and talk through the video without grasping anything. Reacting is not just sitting still, there are channels better than you who know how to talk when to talk and what to listen in the video. They are successful ones. Paying attention to something is not about not caring for the sport, guess your mother did not teach you that And learn how to handle criticism.
