In today’s video we induldge in an all you can eat A5 Japanese Wagyu buffet! We discovered this all you can eat yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo just by searching “wagyu”. It did not disappoint. There a multiple A5 Wagyu cuts, local Japanese beef, seafood, veggies, salads and more! Located in the Ikebukuro neighborhood, it is not meant for tourists but we decided to try it out for a real, local Japanese experience! Since there was no English menu, we had to lean in our google translate app, and often times weren't certain what cuts exactly we were eating but each bite of tender beef was better than the last!
If you're new here, we are Here's Good a Traveling food vlog. We are currently showcasing Tokyo food tours and all things delicious in Japan!

The last time I was in Japan was in 97 or 98 if I remember correctly, and it was also the last time I had actual A5 Wagyu (and not American Wagyu or Australian Wagyu, which are both good, but not A5 good lol). Back then, the prices for all you can eat like this were insanely cheap compared to these days (and I don't mean because of inflation, just in general prices have gone up a good 40-50% since then for most things). The only two things I even remember from that trip at this point (I'm over 50 so my memory is not the best anymore lol) are the A5 meat we ate, and the fact it snowed while we were there and it was just beautiful. It was absolutely gorgeous where we were staying outside of Tokyo, especially covered in snow and just, yeah. I wish I could go back. The only two places I want to travel to anymore, Japan and Alaska.

Every time I see one of your videos, I'm like, "What? You couldn't possibly eat all of these food if you ordered so much, could you?" But you two always end up eating them all. I envy you that you can eat so much.

😂🙌🙌🙌. We save up all summer long eating very healthy so in the winter when we do most of our traveling we can pig out! It does take a few weeks to get back into shape after our trips but we try to stay on top of it!

Wait!!!! You guys went to Hiroshima? I'm from Hiroshima - can't wait to watch the videooooooo!!!!!!! Anyway, how did you find the yakiniku restaurant? I definitely want to try! You are so good at picking those good restaurants in Japan. My husband and I LOVE Japanese style yakiniku - but this restaurant seems to be super cool! Thanks for sharing the video!

Thank you so much! We went to Hiroshima but only had one night on the Shinkansen en route to Fukuoka where our departing flight was. If I remember correctly we went to and Indian restaurant with the largest Naan bread we’ve ever seen and visited the memorial and a small Izakaya for drinks. We recorded it but I’m not sure that we have enough to do a full video. We are planning a return trip and will do our best to capture some more so we have more to share.

You can reduce gas with the buttons at the side. And the sauce you mention as yuzu is actually ponzu.

@HeresGoodTravel
@HeresGoodTravel 4 дня назад
@user-rk8tz8nj9r

Price?
@HeresGoodTravel

We included the price at the end of the meal, not sure in JPY but in USD it was $35 per person. They offer lesser quality meat menus for cheaper too! We will try that next time to see the difference

It's a really pity that the fire was too strong and you made such high qualivy wagyu beef overcooked!😂 I would strongly recommend that you bring some Japanse friend to know how to cook Yakiniku to save your great eating experiences. In addition, please do not misunderstand that Korean BBQ style and the quality of beef is completely different.
@user-rk8tz8nj9r
@user-rk8tz8nj9r 4 дня назад
@HeresGoodTravel

Totally understand! Was there actually a way to turn the heat down a little. The fat was so intense that the second it hit the flame the fire would roar upward!
@HeresGoodTravel
@HeresGoodTravel 4 дня назад
