I can not believe the kids are eating the durians fruits. Most of the kids are won't even stay closer to the fruits these kids are amazing not afraid to try. An excellent video I'm enjoyed.
@@Sofav0963 it's funny how even ASEAN countries have different reactions to durian, like in Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand people love it, but then you have Singapore who just straight up bans durian in public lol
If the durian is perfectly ripe, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it will hardly have a strong odor at all. Most foreigners do not know this and are often deceived into selling ripe durians that are pulpy and have a strong odor. I'm Thai and I still can't eat the mushy one because the smell is too strong. I want foreigners to try delicious and perfectly ripe durian. Believe that you will change your mind from what you have perceived. You teach your child very well.❤
Very impressed with your kids....they are willing to try anything...they are so fortunate to experience diversity at young age...I believe they will have a bright future...credit to you and your wife...you both are awesome parents!
The children were so cute, choosing and giving their own opinions on the food they ordered. Be responsible and not compete with each other 😊 It shows that he was raised with reason and the warmth of family❤
Love to see the way u did with kids, let they tried in many kinds of food and learn about country , im thai who live in oversea happy to see your guys enjoy the holidays. Everything are experience 😊
First time here. It’s so refreshing and heartwarming to see how open these kids are to trying different foods even if they don’t love particular flavors. They are very thoughtful about critiquing. Great parenting and smart kids.
Throughly enjoy your videos, your children are so well mannered & receptive of other cultures different from their own, you are great parents & wonderful people!
As a Thai, I'm glad to see tourists have a great experience in Thailand and I'm amazed by how your family can eat unfamiliar food, Good job👍 14:25 It's the same type of stir-fried minced pork with basil that you ate in the first video of you in Bangkok but they just change the meat from pork to fried chicken. This Kaprao dish is the most popular dish among Thais. Some might say it's true Thailand's national dish. You can even find Lays in Thailand with Kaprao flavour (but it's labelled on the cover as Sweet Basil flavour).
That looks like a fun family outing and it is great you tried the local favorites. I wish that Mc Donalds would showcase a least one international meal at some time in various Mc Donalds restaurants. It looks pretty good. Also the tropical fruit looks like a great dessert choice. Great family! Thank you for another excellent video!
You are a nice family my kids and I watch all new videos after dinner time. We enjoy and have plans to travel to Thailand soon. Thank you for sharing and keeping it real. I appreciate your family. ❤
RU-vid recommended this video on my feed. I didn’t expect I would enjoy this much. Your kids are so well-behaved and open-minded trying new foods (my adult foreign friends still don’t hahaha) Already subscribed! Will go back to watch more on your channel 👍🏼
Hei. I also want to one day travel to Thailand. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your next video. 😊Wishing your family a very happy and happy outing! ❤

Super nice family !! I hope you had a good visit here in Thailand. Please come back soon. I could almost hear the mom saying, "I love them so much, honey, but please take them. I need some "me" time for couple of hours !!" :- )
I'm Thai. This is my first time to watched your this video , I'm so enjoyed with your video, your children are really nice. Thank you for came to Thailand.
Mango sticky rice during summer around March till May , especially on April is the best. Because of the mango is summer fruit. You’ll get the best taste and smell, sweet-and-sour in the same time the aroma. Yummm
Stir fried chicken or pork with Kraprao (basil) is like everyday dish for most Thais (yes we don't eat Pad Thai or Tom Yum Kung that often). Next time try Kraprao dish at some local food stalls or restaurants and you'll love it
Durian is my most fav food in Thailand and I'm so glad you and your son were willing to give it a try! Most foreigners I know would've even avoided going close to that fruit. Also, that cheese stick would've tasted much better if it was freshly fried (the cheese would be so stretchy it would be hard for you to cut it). Anyway, really happy to see you and your family enjoy Thailand ;)
The dish your son had it’s Ka Pow basically we called Pad Ka Pow it could be with any meats and supposed to spicy but if you order at local restaurant you can customize. Pad Ka Pow could be an everyday dish for Thai people.
Durian is my favorite fruit. I think the kind of durian you got was Monthong as you described as mild flavor and low in pungency. Monthong is known for rich, creamy, and very sweet. Like you said Monthong's definitely a good choice for those who never had durian before.
Fyi....Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel is located opposite ICONSIAM just across the river. You will find the amazing authentic Thai food court "SOOKSIAM" over there. And you can take boat direct from Iconsiam to Sathon pier and take a walk like 400 meters to this McDonald's. I'm local people from that area.
Sweet egg floss is a Portuguese-influenced Thai dessert. Its Thai name is “Foi Thong” (literally “golden floss”). Its Portuguese cousin is Fios de Ovos.

Hi John...i do njoy your videos and kudos to you for having all that energy it tkes to juggle a family and a career on the go! As an Educator yourself are you concerned at all that your kids may not recceive the most conducive education for their foothold in such a competetive world. Especially when it comes time to college acceptance...will they even apply for schools in the US since they most likely will be living 1000's of miles away from the best Universities. Yes the diverse cuture you give them now is wonderful but it may come at a price later?
