Amethyst definitely doesn't form like this. Now I'm not sure how he does this and at first I was upset about him smashing the gems but I'm 90% sure these are all just glass and therefore worthless.

Watching this man destroy gems is so disturbing. God makes incredible ingenuity of supporting their creation and this gentleman picks and chooses which gems are more valuable to him and discards and destroys creations that don't meet his needs or standards. It is sad to witness.

I don't know if these are real or fake, but it makes me sad that he is crushing the gems and if not real, why antagonize the viewers like this? Thumbs down

Looks like colored glass to me. Honestly, an automotive punch set would to wonders in digging out precious minerals and crystals.
