timely. testing this before i install a new cylinder. Assuming i can actually get it the cylinder unscrewed. Man it's on tight.

The cylinder is friction fit so it should come off eventually. Each chair is different and some are more difficult than others.

How long is the screwdriver that's used in the video? This video also skips the step where the pad is removed.
