Amicalola Falls State Park & Appalachian Trail in Northern Georgia
Amicalola Falls State Park in North Georgia is jome to the largest waterfall in the state, as well as the southeast. Climb with us to see the cascading waters before heading to the starting point of the Appalachian Trail and exploring the Amicalola Falls Lodge.
On our way out we stop at a farm that makes their own strawberry ice cream with the strawberries grown on the farm.

That’s one massive waterfall! I love all the green & flowers. Way to go girls making it up those strenuous steps!!!! When you make it to the top of a waterfall, you have to take your shoes off & dip your toes in the water. Ice cream is a great way to end the day.

I feel like we have definitely hiked harder in the past...but we have not hiked in so long and reality is that we probably were carrying someone lol. I'm glad they can all walk for themselves now!

I’ve been following some of the NOBO AT through hikers this year. I recognized the waterfalls from their vids. It was nice to get a more in-depth video of the area.

Now this place looks amazing. I want to do this hike now. Andrew carrying the baby up the steps like a champ. That man just got my vote for father of the year. Smart move on the car ride. Larry from Downsizing Makes Cents and I are considering doing a full hike of the App trail. Start to end. We are in talks about it anyway. We will see if it happens. lol Y'all find the best ice cream. Please, Please adopt me. lol That BBQ looks good. The Strawberry jelly is my favorite. Great video as always y'all. Such a great family.

Wow thats incredible! We are exploring the trail but differently since we have littles and its just way too long....but what a feat! Will you set out next April ? Will your wife and dogs come too?

@@OurNationalAdventure We have not really made any plans for it yet. We have just started talking about it. It for sure want me in April though. We plan to be out west for most of the year next year. Then plan to really come back and step up our hunt for land or a house. Undecided on that as well. lol. It will be fun to try to hike the whole trail though. I am thinking maybe 2022 if Larry don't get scared and back out. lol.

We went there and asked three different park employees where the stone arch and sign was and we were given three different directions. Those people are useless
