The Chaos Engine is a top-down run and gun video game developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Renegade Software in March 1993. The game is set in a steampunk Victorian age in which one or two players must battle the hostile creations of the eponymous Chaos Engine across four landscapes and ultimately defeat it and its deranged inventor.

I was just at a Master Boot Record concert and they threw out floppydisks into the audience, I caught one and it had this game on it!!! Sweet

THE CHAOS ENGINE is one of the most brilliant Amiga games ever made in the 1990's 😺👍🕹️. Me and my friends played it a lot on my Amiga 500 and my friend's Amiga 1200, when we were kids and teenagers back in the 1990's. I always played as Gentleman 😹😺👍🕹️. The graphics are amazing, the backgrounds are awesome, the characters are brilliant, and the soundtrack 🎵🎶 is magnificent 😺👍. 😺👍🕹️🕹️!

Another great soundtrack from the late, great Richard Joseph. I recently did an AY version of the "World 1 - Level 1" music... as I was crap at the game, back in the day, it's the only in-game tune I ever heard! ^_^

Although it might not look as good in a youtube video, the game actually has a black bar along the bottom which is cropped off here. But the original aspect is 4:3.
