Going back to the 91-93 hardcore breakbeat (basically proto-jungle) has that rich organic sound that is missing from today's surgical clean production. I love this stuff.

Yeah I've accepted the fact that music genres have to grow and progress eventually. After 2000 the change in sound lost me. But It's great to see some people are still making the old original sound. There was something magical about the roughness of the tracks not being perfect productions or not using the latest and greatest digital gear. That old sound hit's your ears in a way that cannot be matched with the newer sounds.

you should make a video showing how you connect all these pieces of gear together in detail for the newbies... i feel like youd do a favor to society by sharing your knowledge because this could easily become a lost art form...

A500 with protracker 2 got me started with music some 27 years ago! Amen break was one of the first samples I played with.... of course 😜 came from a demo song called "acid sheep" or something like that.. if anyone knows it please share!
