Hope you guys are enjoying the new Nerd videos. There's a few more coming out before the end of the year. Unfortunately, this episode is NOT on Amazon Prime yet, we are having some technical issues with the service... also, we aren't happy that fans outside of the US & UK can't even use it yet. We are working on a solution. For the time being, new AVGN episodes will appear on RU-vid first. There will be an update video once we figure it out. Thanks!

I wouldn't count him as a RU-vidr though. He started out between his own website (Cinemassacre) and Gametrailers/ScrewAttack. He's never relied solely on RU-vid. He's been pretty consistent with quality though, it's impressive I'm still watching after over a decade.

The actual reason that you have to choose between sound effects and music is due to original Amiga limitations. There’s only 4 channels of sound and all of them are used for music thus leaving no room for sound effects.

The same thing was the case with Mechwarrior 2 as well. Could play it as a soundtrack as long as you skip Track 1. (the player tries to play the game data as audio with slightly less melodic results.

From what I remember there were two different expansion modules you could buy to add a standard Amiga keyboard, mouse and floppy drive (unsure about hard drive) It was basically a stock A1200 repackaged as a console (and we all know how well consoles that are repackaged from computers do)

I had one as a kid and I liked kang fu. I knew as soon as I saw you had it you were going to rage about the loading bug. My dad raged about it for ages and called the store and they told him to read the manual. Yes, my dad was in his 30s and bought kang fu... For himself! Legend!

Ah, the Commodore 64 Games System. That was a huge mistake. I love the fact that all the unsold units were disassembled, put in "breadbin" cases and resold (with C64GS' game cartridge and hideous Cheetah Annihilator joystick) as Commodore 64G in Europe.

Hmm, it's weird too. x32. CD tray. Colored buttons. This thing is every bit of the Nintendo-Sony Playstation collab prototype, xept way earlier. Only thing it was missing was its true purpose, good games, the thing that launched the ps1 and Ps2 into space compared to Nintendo and Xbox.

I swear to God, AVGN helped me with one of the darkest part of my life.I was anxious all the time and having panic attacks but when i was watching him i could get a break from life and ease my mind.
