Amiga Longplay Lemmings (Part 2 of 2) 

How I love the level with Awesome space worms! Such a surprise first time I saw it.

Awesome strat on Mayhem Level 11! I remember that I let every second Lemming dig down, I never tried increasing the rate so much, that just every 3rd has to dig. Amazing!

Today I learned you can free a blocker by mining under him...whaaaaat!!! O_o I don't think I ever completed this game though. I downloaded passwords for all the levels, printed them off and brought them to school, which made me the most popular kid in computer class for a while. We had the Mac version which had a few graphical differences - I distinctly remember the lemming sprites being more detailed, with eyes and everything, but nothing online seems to back me up. I remember being disappointed when I got a PC version I could play at home and it didn't have the same graphics, nor any of the special levels. (Not only that, but I seem to recall it had a save game feature in place of a password system, which I also didn't like)

I finally saw the end. Great stuff man ! Thanks for playing this game :D

I just spent an hour and a half listening to this video while ironing. It was AWESOME.

Nice "rapturous applause" at the end, that last level was pretty epic.

1:36:40 I used to think that the level "Poles Apart" was referencing the Pink Floyd song on the Division Bell album, but either Pink Floyd were thinking of the Lemmings game when recording the Division Bell album or it could be just a coincidence as the Division Bell album came out 3 years after the Lemmings game

Haha i recognize myself in that^^ Being a swede I learned English partly from this game when i was around 6-9 years old. Never finished the entire game thou. Mom always made me quit playing after a while but i always got further and further :)

This game is as good today as it was back in 1990. I even have a graphically improved version for my PS3,but the idea is the same.

i just wanted to point out that if anyone has played Lemmings 2 Tribes on the SNES version, if you notice on the Classic tribe, they took one of the songs off this version of Lemmings. sounds exactly alike the version of Amiga Lemmings, the only difference is they cut off the drum beat part.

That Lemming in the end, is SCARY!

Not being able to finish Lemmings doesn't make someone unintelligent, but I still always laugh when someone says it's too hard, and tell them how I beat it when I was 8. I know, it isn't very nice.

Do you realize what it is like when you make one of us do all of the work? You got one guy digging his ass off, or making the MC Escher of staircases, and the rest are just walking back and forth in between two guys with their hands up. What a bunch of shit! I get tired of being picked to be the lemming that does all of the work, there's like a hundred other dudes here spread the love around yo!

Did anyone else play the megadrive (genesis) version of the game? the only 2 levels in the entire game I couldn't beat wer sunsoft level 29 'I am A.T' and present level 30 'Final Impediment'. I remember being so happy when I beat 'evacuating a coal mine'. was only about 8, this was/is such a great game

nice game :) Remember playing a macaddict demo when I was little. After awhile I found a snes emulator and played. After awhile I played genesis etc. Right now I'm playing on DOSbox stuck on upside down world.

so the prize for playing this game for 6 hours or more is an applause phycosis im dissapoint but really this game is old so back in the day an applause is probably a pretty big deal

@Lemmingology I've heard those called "budget" levels, because it was cheaper when you didn't have to pay for royalties because of the extra graphics and music. Strangely, I've also heard that it actually cost more - but I may be mistaken. By the way, trivia: Did you know those levels are on the SMS version as well?

copyright my friend, shadow of the beast 2 was copyrighted to amiga and wasn't ported to all versions of the game. same for the other special levels.

I've managed to do it on the PSP at 94-5 but at 99? ouch.

Wow! What a poor and crappy ending for the original Lemmings game. You think after all that hard work they would've given the player something rewarding to look at and a proper credit screen. Might aswell have just said ''Game Over''.
