I still remember playing this game with my dad when i was about 12. We got stuck on the marsh stage and couldn't pass it for weeks! When i finally beat it i was so proud. That's what was great about the Amiga, it had such great games that focused on gameplay.
God almighty,never thought i would ever see this game again..This was one of my favourite racers.Loved the snow levels best!.Anybody remember STUNT CAR RACER for the AMIGA?.Now i`m off to search for that!!.SMOKIN!!.
brilliant game. i'll have to dig it out, something strange happened with about 2 copies i had of this game, they both crashed after the first round when it was loading that night level, it was very strange, but remember completing this game in the early 90's awsome!
omg I miss my amiga! My mother trew it away without consulting me because I wasnt using :,( I still know these tracks as the back of my hand :,0 oh the pain. Atleast I have the audio tracks in my car lol
Mi też, kur...jak czas szybko leci. Pamiętam jak 1szy raz w to grałem u znajomych moich rodziców - mieli Amige, ja nie, to było coś. Później namówiłem staruszka, żeby mi też kupił - pierwsze gry (w zestawie) Super Frog, Żłówie Ninja i Desert Strike - oczywiście piraty, bo wtedy wchodziło się na legalu do sklepu z czystymi dyskietkami i "kupowało" grę (czyli kopiowało), za drobną/nie drobną opłatą :)0
i love it! If i would edit this game, i would change the lotus models from elan to angelu and esprit to crinale, A.K.A. Angel and Devil cars from ridge racer, i give it 10/5! WAKA!
i've already found 2 glitches on this! Glitch 1: On the night course, if u steer left in a right tunnel ,you'll hear a horn beep, same goes for steering right in a left tunnel. It only works if u hit the corner of the tunnel, during a corner! Glitch 2: when the last 2 digits show 99, and your score builds up, the last 2 99 digits will switch to 00 digits. I discovered on the atari ST, and infinte time 99 digits. It only works with my rom. If you want it, send me a message.
Oh, you have the cracked pirate version. Naughty boy! So did I :-) Wonder how the authors felt about all those little schoolkid gits copying their games?
I loved this game, but boy was I bad at it... even now I still can't get passed the blasted fog level. Use the infinite time cheat and whack on two player mode for an awesome experience!

beileve it or not: there's a car on Burnout Paradise and it looks similar to the Esprit on this game, it's a Jansen P12, look at the car and you'll find out
I've just played lotus 2 and I finished the motorway course with a huge score 23 SECONDS!!! that means at 28:01 that's my remaining time when I finished!
nah I dont like this and Part 3. No Music During Race and only against the Clock. I was very happy when Top Gear 2 come for Amiga too. I played the SNES Version from TopGear 1+2. Great Games like Lotus 1.
