I miss the Amiga days, there were truly some crazily imaginative and wacky games developed on a shoestring that would never get greenlit today.

Amiga 500, Amiga 1200.. oh yeah. those were some amazing gaming stations. The Amiga 4000 even had some cool graphical capability's especially if you 'knotted' a GEN-Lock behind it s you could use a Hi-8 camera to load up direct camera imaging for film-editing, absolutely awesome, and wáy ahead of its time then.

This would make a great alarm clock tone, with the 'lets go' and the first song being energetic, but then it gets gentler for the snooze, but still encouraging you if you are conscious.

Amiga forever! A testament to the awesome might of this machine that certain recording artists and graphic artists still use it today! I consider myself to be lucky to have owned an Amiga. Sadly I no longer have mine. Will gladly give either testicle to have my 500+ again with the matching monitor...

I updated the video description with a jumplist, containing the starting time for each track. For now i was too lazy to find out which track is used in which level. I might watch a longplay at some point to get that done. Not making any promises though.

This takes me back to being a young kid in the 90s. My grandad brought a Sega Megadrive, and at the time it was totally mindblowing. I think Lemmings and Sonic The Hedgehog came with the console. I had no idea how to play Lemmings at that time, so I simply made them all explode and tried to destroy as much of the level as possible.

Nice mixing job Kuakka! I used to play Lemmings on my excellent A2000 back in the dizzay, altho my Commodore 1084 screen annoyingly lost sync when it got too hot so I would tap it on the side to get the image back for another while.

My fave two are back to back, the one that starts at 12.28 then the one after. First heard it age 10 and still (very rarely) hum the tune :) Great stuff, the Amiga, the block-y graphics just made way for more use of the imagination.

Takes me back to the good ol' days! Great music although I noticed that the music that first plays for (I think it's level five of the fun level although I could be wrong so it's been so long since I played this game) the Crystal level where you use Bashers, is missing which is great shame.

Music sounds to advanced for what i remember, I was Atari ST and MS DOS or Win 95. The Amiga had a better soundchip from but I always preferred the over plinky plonkly of the ST. There's a good musical term for you :D

What you refer to as "plinky plonky" might be more accurately described as arpeggios, which is a trademark of C64 and to a certain extend Atari ST music.

It's probably from a public domain game called 'Lemmings Level' (1994) by Krypton Force (a demo group). It had the burning candle, single lemming and tempo increase at least. Music in the game is credited to The Spare-Time-Brothers. Track name is unknown. The file with the music can be found from the game disk and is called just 'LLMusic.ABK' (uses AMOS music bank format).

Glad you like it. They are all music that i like to listen to (in other words i don't upload music that i don't like). Hence the "Cherry Picked" in my channel title :) Some well known titles are certainly missing due to my pickiness (Agony main theme for example, which is highly respected by many - but not me).

Has anyone heard of a piece of music on lemmings on the amiga, I think it was from a training or demo level, there was only one lemming and a timer in the form of a candle slowly burning down, the music started off slow and got faster as you ran out of time and there were lemmings singing a chorus throughout...I can't find any info about the name of the music, I've looked everywhere.

Did you remix something? Is it from the game? Amiga music (or more general, chiptunes and old computer music) usually sounds harsh and ugly through headphones (primitive resampling, edgy square-waves, no hardware-lowpass and too much treble reproduction), because headphones are "too hifi" for that.

DünnschissTV Not remixed, just a track after another. The tracks are from the game yes, but playback is not from a real machine in this upload. It is also post-processed for (hopefully) improved headphone experience.
