The excellence of Xtd never ceases to amaze me and this 4th compilation brings it again.
Xtd shows off his skills around a tracker program with 14 class tunes that sucks me in with his melody magic.

The Amiga is a series of computers released by C=ommodore from 1985 to 1993, all Amigas used the same sound chip, an 8bit, 4channel, upto 28khz PCM called "Paula".
Winuae sound settings used:
Channel mode: Stereo
Stereo separation: 30%
Interpolation: Sinc
Frequency: 44100
Audio filter: A1200
Programs used: Winuae 2.0.0 with Protracker 3.61 installed, Camtasia 7

I'm 14 years old and I'm very young and i know tracker music since i was a kid, honestly the tracker world has a lot of masterpieces and amazing songwriters like XTD, jester, hoffman etc, and honestly XTD is easily in the top 5 best composers for me, he took a lot of the potential of amiga sound

Nevermind..... I Googled it. I program on hardware samplerz. I like all n 1 workstationz, so I wouldn't haveta deal wit da hasslez of MIDI music production. I own da out of bizness Ensoniq EPS-16 plus, I bought, back n da 90z. ( Still my favorite piece of gear. ) I also bought & am still currently trying 2 master, da Yamaha Motif ES-6. Way mo capabilitiez, than da EPS-16 plus, BUTT I don't know how 2 utilize it, azz well. ( Plus, da EPS, iz STILL, killer! ) I appreciate da Amiga tracker music, I've listened 2. I'm glad it has itz fanz. I'ma push my EPS-16 plus muzak, much da same way. Thank u 4 reading, if u did so.

I've been enjoying these a lot while doing creative writing, and it's always fun to have one come up that I had in my collection back in the day. Bad Voices is one I used to listen to all the time, way back when.

The whole thing reminded me a bit of the Unreal Tournament series, though I'm pretty inexperienced in all of this - other games might be closer. Deus Ex definitely comes to mind, too :)

stunning work. I'm not a fan generally of demo music as it tends to be very technically excellent but consisting of simply rhythm, bass, arpeggio and fairly meaningless melody to accompany- I find a lot of demo music to be a bit throwaway personally. There are certainly moments of this here too but it's more structurally identifiable in the way memorable music is

Ex-Track't is ridiculously raw. It sounds like a Streets of Rage boss fight theme. It reminds me a little of Max Man from SoR2 in fact. Also, Expander. It's a bit like one of Motohiro's tunes!

I love this music, so clean, so precise and beautiful sounds. I especially enjoy fast parts, reminding me techno music. A couple of songs sounds like they could be next soundtrack for mortal combat. I like dark and edgy atmosphere, and fast rhythm. My favorite song is Bad voices, that is a masterpiece in my opinion. But all of songs are very, very good. I'm gonna check more of these compilations, just being playing this one for a week already, and more I hear it, the more I like it, so I'll see. Thank you, and good luck with everything.

Even if it's a way too huge ambition, I'd love to remaster these with better quality sound, and, yes I do know that the Amiga sounds it's part of why this is so impressive and why it sounds so good, but I still hope to. I'll post back here if I do, I may even make a video game around these songs

This has been done on an emulator right? I don't remember any of this having been available on my long dearly missed A500...

Yes it is emulated but this program works on a real Amiga 500, every tune on this video works on a basic 512k Amiga :) Protracker is based on Soundtracker and Soundtracker first came out in 1987 on Amiga. Tracker programs in general started on Amiga first. All these tunes were made on Amiga back in the early 90's.

@@off1k How do you know if it works on a REAL A500? Are you saying you actually HAVE one? If so can I PLEASE come by sometime and use one just ONCE more?? :)

@@johnsincak3877 If you use an older version of protracker like v2.3D you should have roughly 420kb or so of free memory on basic non-expanded A500. All these tunes are from 81kb to 329kb and yes I have played all these on real A500. I have 2 A500s, 2 A500plus, 2 A1200s and 2 CD32s. Unless you're Australian, you might be going for a long swim ;)
