It was a quiet night down at the gaming hall.
Doubled up on cocaine and adderall.
The room full of smoke and the air so still that I choked when I raised up both of my hands to yell BINGO.
I was looking around trying to track down who the biggest threat would be.
Seeing the fear in everybodyʼs eyes, apparently it was me and I guess I know why.
Iʼve been coming here cleaning house for the past few weeks.
I was binging bingo.
From the second I walked in I planned my attack.
Three packets in hand, I sat at my usual table in back.
He mightʼve been calling the numbers, but I was calling the shots.
After four in a row I jumped up and yelled “someone should call the cops, Iʼm
killing it”
Everyone sitting still like a people garden.
Tension builds as the wrap up nears the end.
This dabber is a weapon sending everyone to bingo heaven…held back by the
numbers I donʼt have…
Then the room got quiet…
My breath was still...
It gave me the feeling in my chest, that tightness, that only losing everything will.
The game begins now.
We were binging bingo.

What this man can do with just just a guitar and a banjo. It's incredible. I've had the pleasure of seeing him live once, and it took my breath away. I don't think it is can be overstated just how much I enjoy every second of every song he has sung, or just how unbelievably cathartic it feels when he absolutely obliterates his strings and quite possibly, his fingernails too. Everything about his performance, from the beautiful licks, to the raw emotion ever so present in Danny's voice, right to his crazy energy and despaired thousand yard stare. He is possibly the best solo artist i have yet encountered. Bravo

@@Onyxdeth I bet he was excited to be able to perform live after COVID had shut everything down for so long... and having a new album to perform at that! I can't wait to see him again. Saw him at a Dropkick Murphy's show on St. Patrick's Day in Boston a few years ago, he wasn't even on the setlist from what I'd seen, it was a surprise performance and I lost my everloving shit when I saw his merch and I realized he was gonna perform. I bought one of his hoodies and still wear it daily, although the edges of the sleeves are falling apart and the hem is totally unwinding, I can't part with it (at least until I get a new one). Got to meet him too and told him how fucking awesome he is, he was so chill. Then I saw him at the restaurant we went to after the show and I wanted to go up to him again but didn't wanna bug him while he was trying to unwind and eat so I left it alone but it was one of the most amazing nights of my life for sure.

Saw him last week in Massachusetts.Didn't think I'd be able to get in due to losing my ID. which wouldn't have been an issue at an all ages show, but yeah covid times....only had money for vinyl which his is impossible to find so I had to. Unfortunately think he's only selling dvd on tour but not 100% sure.

It so frigging fantastic to hear it so wonderfully RAW…. !!!! When he played at the Aragon in Chicago as an opener for Clutch, HATEBREED and Dropkick on September 30th 2019 … He killed it, !!!! Simply because the Aragon has an oval domed ceiling that was built to carry Big Band non amplified acoustics… He really reverberated some frequencies there that night!!!!

The laugh around 0:47 - I can't tell if that's intentional, or if he's reacting to how fucking cool the acoustics are in this cave, it makes this song more haunting, which is just... yeah.

I love Danny. Why? His stuff is very simple, and if you disagree you are a fool. However, he takes what he has and does so much with it. The heavier strumming and tempo, the yelling (which he has perfected) his voice and annunciation. He knows how to do so much with so little and it just blows my mind. Also badass lyrics in every song. Will be seeing you in Wilmington!

Where did Danny develop his extensive bingo knowledge? Clearly an expert on the bingo battlegrounds. As with Gods love, we as a society aren’t worthy of this song.
