Are these actually comfortable though? I have wide feet and my Manolo Blahnik Lurum fits me perfectly and super comfortable. Also, I have heard complaints about the straps on the back of the ankle and staying up 😢 I don’t want to invest if that’s a major issue. I wish they were in more stores versus being online.
Yes, I would say they are more comfortable compared to other designer heels. I would suggest even going a half size down if you are worried about the strap. You can always get true to size and go to a local cobbler and ask them to tighten the strap. I don’t think you’ll have too much problem with it, as I have multiple pairs and don’t really mind it much. I have a two pairs that are 37.5 and a few pairs that are 38. Both sizes work very well for me. The strap isn’t so much of a problem and I’ve danced in them as well. Let me know if you have any other questions and Happy Holidays! 😊
I am a true size 9 in non designer heels, Size 9 was small on me in these, I have regular width feet, I actually ended up with size 10 and my heel at the ended without hang over. So I’m not sure how you got true to size, even NM says get half size bigger.
I have a few pairs of this shoe and all of them are a size 38 and I’m a true size 38. Also, I have regular width feet as well. Not to mention, one of my heels is also a size 37.5, so I actually sized down. I’ve worked with employees at Neimans and they’ve told me true to size is a great choice, specially because of the sling back in the back, that tends to become loose over time. So not sure, I always recommend trying it on in the store, a lot plays a factor. Toe length, feet width, etc.
I wouldn’t say it stretches drastically or anything like that, I would say it does slip off at times. However, you can always take it and get it adjusted by a local cobbler.
I am size 39 in heels. I tried the pumps in the shop: in PVS 38,5 was to small, 38,5 in leather was perfect, 39 in leather was also perfect, satin 39 to small, satin 39,5 was perfect.
I got them from Nordstrom at the Grove in Los Angeles, CA. If you type in “Amina Muaddi Begum heels” you’ll find some on certain websites. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
