@@vcemetery yes most freestyles are 100% written to some extent but I’m sure there is some of it off the top. It’s still a freestyle even if it’s written. Thoughts 10 minute freestyle on funk was mostly written but what was extremely impressive with that was it was one take.

@kimichrist I can assure you from putting over 25 thousand hours into rapping alone, Not including the larger number of hours I've put into writing. The majority of this video, are verses, chunks of verses, 4/6 bar rhyme schemes etc. When you all in on rapping, it would be stupid if you didn't catelogue bars and rhymes in your head. To civilians yall consider that freestyling. It is not. And to reiterate, I don't believe either or is more or less challenging. Freestyling is a different art form & I'm sure he does it regularly. When you come to show the world who you are, it would be foolish to not bring the best you have. This is called preparation and experience. You don't have to believe me but I promise you. I've been a fan of his for awhile

@christianburk7309 Both are extremely impressive it's just different skill sets. I'm not saying amir is incapable of freestyling. However when you have a real opportunity it would be foolish to show up unprepared. Freestyling is more about expression than displaying your ability. A basketball player doesn't use all the moves or dunks he is capable of on the court, he uses what works and is most efficient for the situation. Which in itself is what most civilians refer to as, freestyling. It is not when we're talking about hip hop. Freestyling is a true, very real pocket you sit in that is a seamless interaction between your mind your emotions and your voice. I promise yall it's a completely different thing. And for the record, ppl absolutely CAN freestyle bars like this. But most of this is polished. More like a mental compilation of all the shit they've been coming up with if that makes sense.
