Amir khan trainer was mad as hell because they lost a 6 million dollars fight and he took it personal because of it, people should understand that boxers don't hide they aren't scared, specially those two guys GGG and Canelo, they are friends and they would be happy to fight against each other, but it's not up to them, it's up to the promoters, all the big fights are about money not about boxing, sadly truth.
What a cry baby you are...the guy was 22 when you wanted to fight GGGay....he fight him at hes best with like 3000000 consecutive KOs and could not knock Canelo out in 3 fights
Blame coke head De La Hoya. Canelo would have genuinely gone another 12 with GGG right then and there 😂 Bro is crazy. He got clapped by Bivol and is trying to jump right back in the ring with him lmao
@@asfand5747 Yeaah no. GGG’s peak was literally both Canelo’s fights. If a 28yo Canelo fought a 28yo GGG, GGG would’ve got smoked. 35yo GGG was a much better fighter in every way. Significantly better defense and accuracy and by the time of the Canelo rematch, he had nearly perfected his jab. Instead of applying basic generalizations to boxing and boxers, learn the sport my guy. Just because the average boxer peaks between 28-32 years old, that does not mean every boxer does. GGG had great genetics and a mostly easy career up until he fought Jacobs (a fight he should’ve lost btw). A career that didn’t take anything out of him at all. He coasted into his mid 30’s getting better and better before finally slowing down against Derevyanchenko (another fight he should’ve lost btw).
i don't like amir's father . something off about him. amir is giving an interview after getting knocked out in a brutal fashion and you see his dad behind with a smirk on his face smiling and laughing as if hes got the paycheck in the bank.
Typical Asian attitude, what you want him to do, Cry? Simple question! His son has reached the heights of the sport for pakistani or British pakistani what do you want to be king of sports, there's football, rugby, basketball swimming etc plenty to gain not just cheques
As a fight fan I'm pretty disappointed but I don't know when GGG is going to learn that he's NOT the A side of this fight. He's not the A side of any super fight. The casual fan still doesn't know who this guy is. He has to be willing to fight at a catch weight to get into the ring with a big name. Ward wanted a catch weight. That fight went away. Canelo wants a catch weight. Boxing is about money. These guys get punched in the face for a living and it don't come cheap.
Golovkin has been a champion longer than Canelo has. Golovkin holds MORE belts than Canelo does. Yet he's not the A side fighter? Ward had nothing to offer Golovkin. Ward called out a smaller guy, and he accuses the smaller guy of ducking for deciding to stay in his own division and try to conquer it through Undisputed status. Once Golovkin fights for the WBO belt, and if he becomes Undisputed, he will rise to Super Middlweight. There, him and Ward can setup a catchweight of 170 (because Ward always had a hard time reaching 168 to begin with) and have a fight that will most likely involve no belts. Canelo fights at catchweights for all the wrong reasons. A catchweight can be justified if a fighter cannot even reach the minimum of the next weight division. For example, if Pacquiao wanted to fight Canelo, a 155 catchweight for Pacquiao would make sense as Pacquiao wouldn't be anywhere near the limit of 160 for Middlweight. However, Canelo puts up a catchweight as claims it's because he can't make the weight of 160, yet fight-night he's at +170. It's absolutely fucking absurd, he even missed his own fucking catchweight when he was going to fight Angulo.
Nope notmyname dude I understand your frustration and I agree with you. But boxing isn't about belts. It's about money. Alvarez has an entire nation of people that will buy pay per view. GGG doesn't. It's really that simple.
Jeffrey Haefner You would be surprised at how many Mexican fans are pro-Golovkin at this point. Source? Family, friends, and live in a community largely composed of Hispanics. Social media plays this role as well. The extreme fans of Canelo are those who don't know about his current lawsuit (which just ended), deals with fighters, etc. They just know him as that cute Mexican baby-face fighter, and don't really know anything about other fighters (Pacquiao, Mayweather, etc). These people, I guarantee you, do NOT pay for his fights, if you catch my drift. The ones in my community, and from social media, see Golovkin as a KO artist, a new Tyson if you will. Many are already agreeing how much of a protected diva Canelo is and are demanding that he fights Golovkin. If by A-side you mean "he makes more money", then please consider his promoter. Other than that, in this instance, Canelo holds absolutely NOTHING of value. BJ Saunders holds more value than Canelo does, at the moment. A bigger fight would be Canelo vs The Undisputed Middleweight Champion (which one sounds more like the A-side?), and I wouldn't be surprised if this was DLH's plan all along.
Don't pay for his fights? One of the main reasons Mayweather chose Alvarez as an opponent is because Alvarez brings in the big PPV buys from his fan base. I'm not sure why you're arguing with me because I agree with you but the reality is boxing is business and GGG is too much of a risk with too low of a financial pay out. I don't know why you can't wrap your head around this? MONEY MONEY MONEY. that's what this is about. Money.
+Jeffrey Haefner Arguing and discussing are two different things. We're discussing a situation. Canelo is the popular one, but Golovkin holds more reputable honors than Canelo does. Even boxing organizations put their foot down and supported Golovkin when they took Canelo's belt away because he was too spoiled. Golovkin would be the A-side in this fight, especially if he obtains the WBO beforehand.
Khan is the man! He went up to fight Canelo but Canelo cant fight GGG and now he is using the contract as an excuse to not fight him. Im absolutely sure that after the fight with Chavez Jr. he will take some time off again, he has money now, doesn't really care about the belts or anything he said it himself! Thats why I'm watching the UFC more often now, boxing matches now a days are one sided most of the times and if the underdog wins the judges will give the favorite the fight.. its all bullshit!
Amir and Virgil should worry about going to sleep in the ring. Unless they are going to become promoters for other fighters. Virgil just embarrassed by Amirs glass jaw.
Virgil brought in GGG after the knock out. He became subjective instead of objective. Had Khan won, his tune would have changed. Virgil / Khan, when taking risks, expect the consequences. IRRESPONSIBLE people blame others.
Lol my favorite part was Bernard Hopkins getting happy after the eruption of the crowd when Canelo said "ay que dejarnos de mamadas" even though he didn't know what he said. Then when it was translated into English he said "that's true". Much respect to you Bernard!
Canelo should of told Khan to STFU and fight Brooks,Thurman,Porteror even Spence Khan has no room to talk he didn't win shit at 147 and goes to 155 like he belongs there when his chins still at 135 that's the thanks he gets for giving him his biggest payday
Wtf are you talking about? He fought at 155 ONE time and that was THIS fight.. so basically he went up in weight to fight a tough challenger like brook did with ggg.
khan cant get a fight now, pacman doesnt want to know, kell brook doesnt want to know, alvaraz wont do a rematch, ggg doesnt want to know,so im offering amir panto at blackpool for 3 weeks over christmas, forget boxing move on mate.
Khan shouldn't of took this fight mann, it disappoints me when he could of fought kell brooks and quadrupled the canelo purse plus he had a better chance if winning but he's got to stop making these poor decisions thats clearly affecting his career, dela hoya is wicked and evil for luring khan into the canelo fight knowing full well he was going to get seriously hurt!! You notice how immediately after the devastating knockout khan didn't receive any medical attention, no oxygen or nothing plus allowing canelo to come in 20 pounds heavier plus not saying shit when he didn't turn up to the weigh in, if that would if been any other fighter they would of been punished for it but its obvious this fight was to keep the Golovkin pressure of golden boys back, khans a fools for being so easily talked into the fight and the only way to redeem himself is to fight kell brooks
Stop with ur bullshit man. Canelos a threat whichever weight he goes. Hes been cleaning up divisions behind him. Look what he did to kovalev. Did he rehydrate 20 lbs there too? Shut ur fukin face & give the man his props.
@@johnlove8887 Nah bro... stop blaming the comission in this case. Amir looked healthy at that weight. He didnt look bloated or at unease at any point. Even on the night he looked as big as canelo despite canelo rehydrating. Khans speed/movement was on point & he was doin great in there until rd.4 when canelo decided to take it up a gear 😂. When he got knocked the fuk out, thats when the excuses about the weight started coming in. Kinda like david haye's toe excuse after gettin his ass whooped by klitschko
am i the only one who thinks its a bitch move from Khan when he said Canelo needs to fight GGG? "you just knocked my ass out cold , but i want you to get in the ring with a man who is better than me" Give me a break, Amir Kuck
If canelo would accepted the fight with GGG back then he wouldn't have a chance, GGG was in his prime at that time, Canelo leaved the belt after that fight with Khan and said NO to GGG
You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about, that fight was at 154 pounds and GGG has been always in the 160 pound division. Cinnabon has been in multiple divisions even after beating GGG while GGG even now still fights in the -160’s
@@transitionsz2813 no this fight was for Canelo’s WBC middleweight and Ring magazine belts. Canelo had already beaten Cotto for the middleweight title by this point. Called G out then Oscar sent canelo back down to 154 to fight Lara then had a sparring session with Chavez Jr. before he fought G. G’s a limited fighter but he was fast and strong. Too strong for most middleweights. G never tested himself or bothered to change classes because he knew Canelo was the big pay day. Oscar went the Mayweather route and waited till he saw G slow down. Struggled with Brook and couldn’t stop Jacobs then they fought. Canelo is the superior boxer and will go down as a pound for pound great but man G was a terror at the time. They couldn’t stop each other in 24 rounds so 2 years earlier September 2015, G that wouldn’t have fought Lemieux and Canelo wouldn’t have fought Cotto. Both of those fights could have waited. The G two years younger was noticeably stronger, faster, and more reckless so he threw more combinations while working the body. Two years might not seem like much but as a 35 year old I can attest to being distinctly superior physically at 33 than I do now. After G couldn’t stop Jacobs his confidence wasn’t the same. If he was reckless the fights would’ve been way more fun to watch. Both fights that actually took place were still fun to watch but could have been better. When they fought the first time that was the end of his gas tank. That should have been their third and final fight. By the time they fought the second time, all 36 year old G had left was a jab and his chin. He was getting backed up by Canelo. Freaking Oscar man
@@transitionsz2813 man what are u talking about Clenbuterol was wbc 160 pound champion GGG is mandatory then he vacate belt immediately when GGG said give me my belt Canelo yes king GGG there it is
khan is very brave for taking this fight ... didn't Connor McGregor do the same i suppose haters are gonna hate because they don't have courage like these two
Jeez Khan, kudos for taking the risk other fighters dont seem(!) to wan to take, BUT you could have fought a little saver. This was just reckless (I wanna say amateur-ish, but gotta respect the skill).
