Amen!! I look at the Jews! They were expecting God to come and rule and conquer their enemies!! Oh He would rule and reign from Jerusalem, but He came to conquer our greatest enemy, Death!! First!! I think of how the disciples endured great trial because Jesus came to bring hope of salvation to the world,and the more they were persecuted the more the gospel spread!! We as Christians look for the same thing, our coming King!! Even tho I hold to the fact that Jesus will remove His church before the great day of the Lord!! I also realize that we as Christians may have to face somethings that may be hard or may test our faith on a great level. I believe we have to arm ourselves with the same attitude the disciples and Peter did!! Where do we have to go Lord, YOU alone have the words to eternal life!! We keep our eyes on the Author and Finisher of our faith and we trust and hold onto so tightly what Gods word tells us, Matthew 10:28-31!! I believe these oppositions will separate a true Christian from a false one. I believe the apostasy is coming soon and yet is already here!! May we arm ourselves with faith knowing that God will surely not allow anything to happen to us that is not in His will for us, and He will surely give us an abundance of faith and strength and words in that day!! We do not need to fear, for Jesus said in this world you will have trial and tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world!! God bless you All!!

So true Acts:2 36-39. It does my heart good to see a family being that way w/one another. Never knew my father but I learned later in life that I (we) have a FATHER in heaven who loves us very much. Sometimes I imagine all of the children who never had a chance to come into this world climbing all over their (our) FATHER in heaven playing and laughing w/HIM and HE never turns them away. It's just a thought, I'm sure their life w/HIM is even better than I can imagine.

What a blessed reminder of how precious children are in the eyes of God - and all I could think of were all those adventurous little children 2,000 years ago who wanted to see what Jesus was up to when they wandered toward Him and He took them onto His lap, The family of our Lord is a giant one, made up of little miracles such as this.
