Amir Tsarfati: The Generation That Shall Not Pass Away 

In 1967, a preacher called Barry Smith was in the Philippines teaching on the end times, when a 12-year-old boy, unchurched, stood up and spoke the words:.... this generation shall not pass away before that I come again.... I was 13 in 1967, and ever since I heard this prophecy I have known that I will meet Jesus in the clouds!!! Amen! Come Lord Jesus!

It's sometimes hard to believe that I am part of God's people. Especially when I slip up and make a mistake willingly. Everytime I think about what Jesus did for me and why, brings me to tears. I always ask myself how can you love someone like me, and the Lord always makes me feel like how and why don't matter because I won't be able to comprehend it.

I was born in January 1949 and my hope is to be one of those that are "alive and then we who remain, who have life, we shall be carried away with them together in clouds to a meeting of our Lord in the air, and in this way, we shall always be with Our Lord".

Israel only occupies a small fraction of the land that God gave them. God told the people to go take the land, that He would go before them. The wars since 1948, Israel gained land, which shows the promise God made to Moses, Joshua, and the people back then, still applies today. The borders of the middle East are borders created by European powers after a war. But the borders of Israel are borders set by God. Two thirds of Syria belongs to Israel, according to God. Russia and whoever says, don't fly over Syria, but God's promise, when they enter that area, He is with them and going before them. You want to know why Russian missiles destroyed a Russian plane? Well it is that land belongs to Israel. I do think, when Israel is attacked from the north, Israel will get possession of that northern part of their land. And I think that will be the last show of God's acting presence, to Israel, to get the nation to call on their true Messiah, before He forces the issue with them, referred to as the time of Jacob's trouble. Jacob wrestled with the Lord even after God had blessed him. It wasn't until Jacob was crippled in the fight, did he become Israel. They refer to themselves as the nation of Israel, but they are the nation of Jacob in reality. When they get crippled, like Jacob, is when they will ask, like Jacob asked, tell me your name. After Jacob wrestles, gets crippled, when get reunited with his brother and they embrace one another, which is like a picture of the church coming back, to meet with the nation of Israel.

Let's assume 80 years will be the generation that shall not pass away and that's a good assumption. Scripture says, that generation shall not pass away, so the tribulation of 7 years must be completed within that 80 year period or that generation will pass away. Seven years of tribulation subtracted from the 80 year generation is the year 2021 so it would seem reasonable that sometime before 2021 the Church will be taken out. Christ will return to the earth in Jerusalem on the last Feast of Tabernacles within that 80 year period guaranteed because scripture does not lie and it cannot be changed. Beyond 80 years in scripture simply isn't found in prophecy. The generation began in May of 1948 for one additional reason not covered. Dr. Grant Jeffrey was given the knowledge to understand the prophecy in Ezekiel Chapt. 4 , which yielded the date of May 1948, of Israel's return, around 2500 yrs. before the actual event was to take place. A complete description of that prophecy and how it was calculated is given in the book "The Signature of God" by Dr. Grant Jeffrey. It's a great book, by a great man of God. One final thing, Dr. Peter Ruckman determined that our Lord Jesus Christ was most likely born on the Feast of Tabernacles, so He will be returning on His earthly birthday, so to speak. First coming on the Feast of Tabernacles, the second coming on the Feast of Tabernacles. The birth of the Church on Pentecost at the third hour (9:00 A.M. Jerusalem time), by the Holy Spirit coming down, the Church caught up by the Holy Spirit coming down on its birthday at 9:00 A.M. Jerusalem time. The Feast of First Fruits is a type of our Lord Jesus Christ connected by 50 days to Pentecost. One could say the Head is connected to the Body by time, the only two feast days, of the seven, connected in that manner. Interesting!! Thanks for your time, think about it.

Yeshua declared that salvation, Himself, would come from the Jews. The Lord as you state has grafted the gentiles into the main olive tree Israel. I have a question about the sabbath, in 2 weeks I will be 73 years old, GOD willing! I still cook and clean my house without any help. My children live 1 in California and 1 in NYC. My husband and I, we moved to the Midwest a couple of years ago because of my husband’s job. I had several house cleaners, who were not very honest, the drank our alcohol, stole our prescription medication, etc! I suffer from several health problems like severe high blood pressure, even though I am on medication, I also suffer from COPD, I am not overweight, I am vegan, 5,4 and 135 pounds! I try to only do the least work on the sabbath but then during the week I have to rush to get things done! Rushing raises my blood pressure and dust makes me cough. Please pray for me, that my blood pressure gets lower and that I get more strength and energy, so I can get everything done during the week.

I think the generation that sees Israel reborn is a specific timetable not a metaphor for people's lives. Psalm 90:10 tells us the days of our lives our 70 or 80 year's by strength of will. Israel is almost 73 years old as I write this on May 13, 2021. The next 7 years are the time of testing after the end of the church age which begins with the rapture. Soon Jesus returns to reclaim this world and give us the peace we have always sought but never achieved.

I've been watching more prophecy and Bible stuff more in the last few years than ever before, and I've realized that we interpret it many different ways. I've cried out to God on my knees, asking for guidance and many other things, which I have for the last 27 years. I'm 40 and as long as I can think back, I've never heard God or felt a loving presence.... And why are all pastors half comedian and half used car salesmen? They are like magicians, directing you where to look while they fill their pockets where you aren't looking.
