How can this Angel get better and better? I just heard an adult opera singer sing this, and I must say, sorry,.... I HATED IT! Amira is something more! What a voice! Warm, hard, everything needed. There is tall feeling in her voice, soul. Love looking a person doing what she loves... Except being in Olympics, as this Angel from heaven said.

This concert in Spain was an odd concert in that it feels very under rehearsed. The tempo in Nessun Dorma seems to change several times during the piece. Her Canisius Concert is more in line with where she is as a singer. Her voice becoming stronger, richer and more dynamic with every performance. Even though this doesn't feel as strong a performance as she's given she's still amazing - and she's only 11 yrs old. What a talent.

I don't think this was a concert as such. It's a long TV Christmas show, 4-5 hours long, with much variety, pre-recorded in Nov and then broadcast late on Christmas Eve.

Yes, it still felt under-rehearsed. A very strange deal altogether. Certainly more a mix of cabaret and Three Ring Circus than anything else. I have no idea what was that which came onto the stage while she was singing.

I agree. The problem may be there seems to be no conductor to keep the music flowing properly between Amira and the musicians. If you watch Amira with André Rieu, you'll see a much superior performance. He's incredibly sensitive to the balance of the music to the singing performance. In other words - Ya gotta have that "boss" to keep the rowdies playing nice.

I agree Dale. At 9 yrs old she really was incredible - a remarkable performance controlled and rehearsed by Andre Rieu. He really took care of her.
