Great eaction! I had already heard this hymn with various sopranos. But when I heard it from Amira, it was like hearing it for the first time. Basically this has happened with everything I've heard from her. The only adjective worthy of her that I use is this: Amira is Music.

You don't even have to be religious for listening to her voice and her as the person behind the voice to envelope one in peace and beauty.. it's not just her voice... it's also the calm that Amira herself exudes... It's very special..

Great reaction again, what an angelic voice for this angelic piece of music. Jankélévitch, a French musicologist, said that the choirs in Gabriel Fauré's Requiem are always expected to be full of serenity and starlight. Actually, no choirs are requested when Amira performs it as a soloist...

Thank you for this , I've looked for some time to find it and gave up. What a surprise to see it whilst not looking. What a gift. She is one of those people who light up the room when they enter it yet what modesty she has.

As you say it is impossible to describe this unique voice, many have tried but virtually all have failed. Also, I have searched your reaction request list, but see no request for her *Amira Classical Crossover Magazine interview* (30 mins in English), but probably a bit long for a reaction video. However if you haven't seen it I recommend it for your private viewing as her wonderful personality really shines through. Apologies, I am unable to provide a link but Google or RU-vid the highlighted heading above will bring it up. You won't be sorry.

Thank you. This performance was in Apeldoorn, during a visit to the Netherlands in the latter half of 2023. Yes, the power in her voice has been increasing, and it is evidently still doing so - her voice will not be fully mature for about another five years.

During a wedding of a couple from South Africa who were in the Netherlands! They asked Amira if she could sing and offcourse she did.I was there in the audience (invited)
