@GLORIOUS You probably aren't happy because you are obsessed with things that have nothing to do with you. 😅 The Amish mind their own business, they're polite, they're hard workers & they're generous. Their religious beliefs are clearly not even close to yours. Go enjoy life & stop being a miserable grouch.😀
@GLORIOUS whats wrong with being gay? Whats wrong with having with not having god be part of school because there is many religions and people have the freedom of religion ? Just because you dont honor god doesn’t mean you cant be happy. Also how can we know that all the amish all wholesome. Who knows if they are bad things going out behind the scenes. For such a wholesome community, there is many sad stories of people who previously amish but escaped their cult like life
becaue they are not vaccinated, so they are healthy and eat healthy food what is not poisened. And they pray to god. I will maybe live there and make a lot of children.
Here is a community of people living a simple happy life, NO new iPhone every few years, NO rubbish social media destroying their lives, NO dependence on a massive mortgage to make the banks rich. NO junk food that puts you in your grave real fast. NO influences of media manipulating their life. These people are living in paradise. Busy, Happy and Healthy.
@@karrenpopovics2780 Then go and live) I’m happy with the life I have today. It’s just the ability to control what I consume both in terms of media and food. If you control what you consume then you can live a happy life in the developed world
I live in rural southwestern Pennsylvania and there are a lot of Amish here. Such very nice and humble people. Notice how well behaved and happy their children are.
Yes, many of them are nice but they have barbaric practices when it comes to the treatment of their horses and dog breeding. Everything to them has a price tag. Which I find interesting because of the way they live. You will find that most of them are wealthy and most of it has come from us “English” buying the things they make or grow.
Life for farmers all over the world is never easy. Bad weather and destructive insects are always a threat. I'm surrounded by Amish here in northwestern Pennsylvania and what has always impressed me most is their work ethic, family values, respect for tradition, and self discipline. Their lives appear bucolic but under the surface it's hard work that makes their society appear serene. Although they keep to themselves, they are the first to help non Amish neighbors in need. They live their Christian faith. Like most of our ancestors Sunday is the one day of the week they do only basic chores after their church services are over. It is a day to visit relatives and socialize with their neighbors.
thats why you rarely or if anything, never will find them having mental issues like modern people. because they have tough will, discipline minds, and hearts full of love and connected to family. compared to people today , connected to billions and still don't know their neighbor's name. and here we have 1-2 kids and they wont even show up to visit once a year. these people visit even semi distant relatives regularly. sure there are disadvantages too in their lives but they avoid so much of our problems by being who they are. i betcha they can all tell you what a woman is. something modern society can't define anymore.
I went to visit an Amish farm this past summer and I’ve never met more kind and welcoming people. They work for everything they have and they keep to themselves. Very respectable group of people!
The more I watch the Amish the more thankful and grateful I am for the important contributions they have given us here. They appear so authentically happy and healthy! Thank you so very much And God bless y'all 🙏
You are a heretic for commanding a vengeful god to change his perfect plan. Are you smarter than god, claiming he doesn´t know who to bless but you do? Enjoy the fire 🤘😈🤘
I have tears in my eyes for no bloody reason. I guess deep down this is a type of life I wanna live. Simple and pure. Away from all the noise and pollution of the city.
the simple life isn't so simple. be careful, the grass is not always greener on the other side. This life is being romanticized, but in reality it is a very hard life.
@@apryoutube I would love to, it's rare to find now days people with simple living and high thinking, for your information these Amish people are one of the richest farmer's in the US in terms of income and property, they speak about more than 4-5 languages which is more than average American.

@@tootsmagoots9523 Nobody is saying anyone or group is perfect here. But that's the point, isn't it? There is a contemptuousness for others in that assessment of those that grow our food that could easily apply to plumbers, hunters, truck drivers, coal miners and billions of other people in other trades besides money lending on the planet.
That's false. They stop schooling at 14 and only learn basic knowledge. There is a girl who escaped one of the largest Amish communities and she said she was told the world was flat and she didn't even know the US had a president. She saw a picture of George Washington and just thought it someone's grandpa. She also said she didn't even know that there was 50 states.

Great neighbors. I am surrounded by them in my community. The wonderful thing about Amish is they take care of their own. If one falls ill, they all pitch in to pay for that persons care. If a barn or house burns, they have a new one built in 48 hours because they all come together to help. They know how to be a good neighbor. They don't depend on the government to help them.
I did not know about this except for the menonite Amish people at the bread basket in Riner. And yea I have not had a chance to talk to them but I have been in the store and they all seem like sweet people.
@@PROVOCATEURSKThose crimes are forgivable sins. As heinous as they are, they can be forgiven and turn to God for forgiveness. According to your logic, Christianity is suddenly a cult.
I loved to live on the farm. The air is fresh. Organic foods are healthy. The people are happier and not stressed out like living in the city. Thanks for sharing your videos about the Amish people. Very interesting to know how they live. Take care and good luck. 💕
Not real Amish they don’t let you take their picture, don’t wear jeans. Wrong hair cuts they set Bowl on head, I worked for an Amish contractor for 12 yrs
@@matthewm7540 most Amish live in Pa. and Indina and some in wincosnin. They don’t use golf carts and all wear their hats and scarfs when outside. They have a community in Sarasota Florida for older retired Amish and vacations
Interesting! I just found this. I recognize everything! I lived in this community for a few years and this specific house for a few months. Met my wife and married here before leaving the Amish church and lifestyle. This was my favorite of all the Amish communities I lived. Thanks for sharing!
This is the most gratifying video to watch. The spirit of God just shines through these good people . Being surrounded by the antithesis of God in society, it is beyond refreshing and hopeful and redeeming to witness American citizens who are happy and at peace and in no way materialistic, and so much wealthier than everyone outside their exclusive blessed culture.
What is stopping you from going to heaven? Why are you avoiding it? Why would you want to live for 80 years with Satan on Earth? You are fake believer.
They have the right idea, fully self sustaining lifestyle. When I lived in Ohio, we had a good sized Amish population. They make very nice furniture, and delicious homemade food. Thanks for sharing my friends, and safe travels!
Thanks for making this video..I grew up in Ohio and always had so much respect for them and their insane work ethic. Most people never really get to meet and talk to a real amish person but if you do you're going to learn that they are some of the nicest most genuine human beings.
Wow some people aren't as greatful as these people are. I sometimes wish I was that energetic to do things but instead I go on RU-vid on my phone watching Amish videos lol. It's nice seeing that people still live in the olden days in 2023.
This is how we were meant to live I feel like. No huge gray skyscrapers, no cars, no computers. Pure unfiltered living. Self-sufficient, not dependent on some politicians that hate you anyway. By the looks of it, no any authority what so ever! Just the core family structure. Close to nature, where we belong.
Depends on how you use your phone. Phones are very helpful, for time, reminders, contacting someone, using the internet, taking photos and videos, etc.

Best look I've ever seen into the life of our Amish neighbors. Amazing how it took someone familiar with the Russian countrywide to bring out the wonderful culture of these fascinating citizens
That’s the biggest contradictment/oxymoron, (whatever the word is) that I’ve heard lol. You typically would have excellent or better social skills without social media. Social media has ruined that for a lot of people.
Every Amish person I have seen in different video's are happy, healthy, and at peace. They love their lives and live it the way they want. They believe in the Lord which guides them. I wish I had that kind of peace. Great video!
I live in “Amish country,” as some people like to call it- not everything is all sunshine, but I think we can all learn that living more simply is better for our health.
@@Zaidi_227 I'm pretty sure there's a ton of rebellion among the younger folks there. I also can assume they have the same issues we have out here. After all they are people too. Meaning drugs, sex and violence.
Yeah, I live in "Amish country" as well, and I can confirm (Especially since I was one once myself, and my whole extended family is still to this day) that the plain people aka the Amish and the Mennonite are not as perfect and wholesome as people think they are. They are a colt through and through and, in being so, fall under the same issues as other colts.

You know... when the shit hits the fan and everyone freaks out in America, the Amish will be the most technologically advanced in our country. We will be begging them to teach us their ways.
@@arnieg8800 Yeah, that’s not exactly true. The Amish allow anyone to attend their churches’ and will even translate if neccessary. They live in our neighborhood they are lovely and are like our family, they are were helpful, they are there with every members of the society when they are in need, they donate their wealth and free food, grains in our town.
@@shinrapresident7010 it happens in every family whether they are Amish or not, when you marry their daughter against their will and they think you are not suitable enough for their daughter. All things becomes normal when children comes in the house, they will accept you, but you have to also compromise a little bit and respect them because they are elderly, they feel too, you married their daughter which they raised for so many years. You should talk to them keeping your ego aside as they are elders, even if they say in anger they don't mean it, they love their children very much. Daughters and womens are considered pride of the house, Amish people can't tolerate if something bad happens with their women. There are few Amish in my neighborhood whose daughter married to a Mennonite or Christians from other denominations but she convinced her family with her husband but she didn't ran from the house or situation. This is the true test. Even in non Amish family this things occur, you don't know these things because you don't have any daughter.

I knew a lot of Amish from Berne and Geneva, Indiana. They explained to me that there were basically four families there, Schwartzentruber, Hilty, Yoder and Gruber I think. I knew them from quite a while ago, and they were really Old Order Amish. They all spoke with heavy accents and the children never talked to us Englischers.

I think that's why there's such a growing "homesteading/ off grid" movement going on in our country. So many people ready to disconnect from the grid and surround themselves with like-minded folks.

@@JamesDean-vl3uf tbh, that sounds like a great business opportunity to line up self sufficient farmers and people who want to learn. It preserves the time tested ways of doing things, while also giving people the confidence and skills they need to make it, no matter what happens. We grew up on a farm with no running water and occasional electricity so we had to know how to preserve our own foods, so I guess we could hack it if we had to, but I feel like I don't remember enough to be really confident about it. I've never slaughtered livestock apart from fowls, so that would be a big, intimidating skill to learn because I don't remember exactly how it was done, but I do remember that time is of the essence once your cow is down, but that's about it. I do know how to salt and smoke and cure meats, can pretty much everything, dry foods for storage and those things I actually did on the farm, but there's still a lot i don't know that I need to know. If I could possibly get connected to a farmer nearby who would be willing to teach me all of this, that would be a massive boon because much of it is learned by doing and you can't really learn by not doing.
A very kind family. They do America proud. These fine people don't have the pride that is common among average Americans. To be real and prideful are two different things. These folks are obviously not trying to be show-offs, they are simply being themselves. Bless them.
There are a lot of Amish folk that have moved into the area where I grew up in upstate NY. I absolutely love them and have the highest level of respect and admiration for them. Just like any other prophet, Jesus prayed to one Almighty God who created this universe. If you really love & follow Jesus, why you pray to trinity? It clearly proves that truth isn't with you. Jesus never told people to worship him instead of his God ( Creator). Because worship is for God alone ( not trinity) which is the main teaching of Jesus. If you worship virgin mother son instead of your everlasting creator, you will receive hellfire in etertiny. I am not your enemy, I just aware you sothat your afterlife will be secured. Accept Messiah as prophet what he really was. Your Only true God who created you from semen is enough powerful to save you. Christian and hindues have faith on human god. Both group beleive That God manifested as human which is paganism, so both group will face same fortune in eternity. True God never ever come in this earth by releasing woman's vagina. This kind of faith is disgraceful which resulting hellfire in eternity. The truth is no prophet preaced to worship trinity for getting heaven in afterlife. God who saved the righteous people of prophet noah is the true saviour of humanity.
