From our recent campervan trip to North Wales. Join us for a full view of our circular walk from Amlwch Port to Point Lynas lighthouse. This circular walk takes in a really beautiful section of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. If you keep your eyes peeled you may be as luck as we were and see dolphins off the headland near the lighthouse!

Good morning Des, Maria, we saved this one to start our day, whay a treat too! The Anglesey Coast path looks great and the Birdlife must have been nice to see too, not to mentioned the dolphins and other sea life along the way. Nice choice of music too, very relaxing for such a dander ❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🌊 Pleased the weather was on its best behaviour for you both too, pre salted sea lamb 🐏👍 Great little lighthouse too, really nice to see , what a job that must be! Thanks Ceri & Kat! We had some fantastic walks on this campervan trip, but I think this was possibly our favourite! Amazing views and wildlife👍 I think a good portion of the lighthouse is used as holiday accommodation now that it's all automated. Haunting beautiful coastal landscape Des. I have happy memories of an Anglesey family holiday with my dear ol' mum and the kids a few years ago, with us having a picnic on the beach at Point Lynas before walking out to the lighthouse. Best wishes, Chris

Such a fun view. The sea is a very different life than where we life near the mountains. I do enjoy the mystery of endless waters with sea life and birds. The beautiful ferns and trees were familiar. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Dan! Yes, we live more or less centrally in the UK, so it was a really nice change to do a clifftop walk with the sound of the waves! And it's still less than 120 miles from us, so we should do it more often 😁 All the best to you👍

What a stunning walk. The sea, the sky and your jacket and t-shirt were all matching in the amazing blue colours.. Very trendy colour coordinating with the landscape lol. Love a coastal walk. The path at times seemed a little close to the edge and I fear corrosion of the cliffs could stop some of these amazing hikes. That must have been some amazing wildlife you saw. The dolphins would have been stunning. You should have taken a wetsuit, mask and snorkel and gone for a closer look lol 🤿 Amazing day and what a walk. Thanks for taking us along. Look after yourself. Hi Scott! I never thought I was wearing stealth gear 😁 I think the rock is quite tough along that stretch, so there weren't many signs of erosion. It was great to see the dolphins, but the water looked a bit chilly to share with them! 😁 Cheers for watching! Catch you soon👍

I love a good coastal path and that one looked fab Des. Loved seeing those carvings in the rock, particularly dating so far back. You can feel the history when you see things like that

Not sure yet whether or not I'll take on any long distance trails, but this one could certainly tempt me! 😁 Have you watched Dazbass007's series? 👍👍 Those names carved in the rock were interesting as they would have been from the days when Amlwch was still busy with copper mining. So it does add a bit of interest wondering who those people were! 😁 All the best & catch you soon!👍

Dolphins Gannets and Godwits!! What a walk that was. Stunning scenery and a beautiful day. Those currents look deadly, but seeing the dolphins must have been amazing Des!! Very jealous.😀 I’ve been nearly everywhere(man) but Anglesey has completely passed us by. I think a trip up there looks a must from these videos!! Very relaxing video from start to finish, excellent. Very nice walk Des.... You have done some nice walks.... I do like my forest walks but the coastal walks are probably my favourites. Spotting the dolphins would be a bonus

Some fantastic sections of the Anglesey Coastal path along that North Coast, and for your post hike pint I can highly recommend the Adelphi Vaults in Amlwch Port👍 Great home made pies too! 😁 We had some lovely weather on this trip and saw dolphins and seals on a couple of our walks. Great trip all round!👍😊

Hi Daz. Yes, there's a great cafe in Amlwlch Port and another up in Amwlch itself. A full Welsh brecwast is not a bad way to start the day 😁 The little blue pub (the Adelphi) in Amlwch Port was fantastic too! Really enjoyed our few days in the area👍 Cheers for watching👍😊

Gorgeous walk with dolphin spotting thrown in. Interesting stone carvings too. How far was the walk Des?

Hi Sue! It was a cracking walk and the weather was just right. I think it was about seven or eight miles, and not any big hills or anything. The names carved in the rock would have been from the areas copper mining era, so was interesting to see them. All the best👍
