My Telugu friend told this is called phool chakri in Hindi.Achhapam is my sister's favourite.I bought this instrument but never made it. I also like but without egg.I have never eaten this fish curry but I love the smell when it cooks. This is authentic Kerala fish curry.

Eat achappam with ice-cream. It tastes good. Achappam is also called cookish in Mumbai. You are fortunate to have mother like auntiji. She reminds me of my mother. She used to cook different dishes for me .😊
