As I shot the video i thought so too but no, they`re not pre-matched. Fortunately you can use any delay with any verb. I recorded the video right after I got the pedal...too soon to get familiar with it. I should have pointed that out in the video. Anyway...You can choose a verb in single-verb-mode and switch over to single-delay-mode and choose a delay...when you go to delay+reverb-mode your two choices get combined...delay before verb in signal chain.

@@fahge So you mean Delay X ---> Ammoon PockVerb ---> Reverb Y? I never use more than one reverb-pedal at the same time...the same with delay. Reverb is always the last effect in my signal-chain...delay before reverb. This pedal offers both...delay and reverb. You can create nice ambient sounds just with the Ammoon PockVerb itself. I'm not sure, if I understood your question properly...anyway...I hope this response helps.

I have had one for about 3 months and I can't say enough good about it. My "best" delay reverb combo to date has been a DL4 and a BigSky. Rarely use either now. Way too big to take to jams and rehearsals and sometimes you just want to play, not fiddle with switches. I'm a guitarist, not a DJ. This pedal may not have the flexibility and range of options, and you will find no unnecessary extras... Though it does have any sound you might actually use, and in a small footprint. No faffing about trying to find a usable tone. In my opinion, easily worth triple the price of what I paid. I hope it lasts. EDIT: Scratch that, I paid 40 euros. I would have happily paid 8 times that. Even more if it were stereo.

Thanks! You long press the footswitch to activate the tap tempo function...then you tap at least two times on the footswitch to adjust the desired tempo (BPM) for the repetitions

I see. So its a manual tempo selector. And the tempo will be indicated in the LED lights. Correct me if im wrong.

Hey David, I got it. It's a good pedal. The reverb sounds HUGE. If you want big ambient reverb, this pedal will fit your bill. The delay seems like a side bonus. It's easy to set the delay tempo (delay rate) which is all i could ask for with delay. I love that i can use just delay, or just reverb, or delay and reverb together. I originally planned to play screaming bluesy psychedelic rock leads with the delay, but i find myself playing relaxing clean stuff with the "church" or "room" reverb settings instead. The "digital delay" sounds good with the "room" reverb setting, and i've set camp there for playing my 7 string on clean channel with just fingers. I like this pedal a lot. Not every setting on this pedal sounds good. Only 3ish settings stood out to me. I mentioned my favorites previously. With those favorite settings alone, the pedal is worth it. TL;DR, awesome huge space reverb which can be dialed down to Grateful Dead improv reverb. Delay is good for my uses.

@@visionseeker7678 Thank you, I was there for one of Jerry's last shows Aug 94 in the meadowlands, so that reference alone has got me sold. I have been chasing a Ventures surf tone, I'm hoping this and a tremolo pedal will do (but i really don't know for sure)

Switch to delay-mode-only, choose your favorite mode, then switch to reverb-mode-only, choose your favorite mode. Then switch to D+R mode and both settings are combined

@@thepedalbird2037 do I understand right? I can mix delay and reverb not only in pair which is undewritten on the knob in same position? so it's possible to choose ANY delay and mix with ANY reverb in D+R mode?!

@@TonyHawkTuah Both lol. The NUX is a Solid unit and I believe the Aamon is more of an ambient pedal. I haven't tried either as I have just been playing through my modelers. I have re-arranged my Studio and have amps set up again after receiving the Captor X for X-Mas so time to start getting back to the future with some Analog. Thanks brotha. You ? Have you tried either ? I'm curious about that Aamon lol. Sometimes these Reverse Techs get it right.

@@teriakamoto I think you're right about the fact the Aamoon is an ambient machine. Seems like the NUX is more like a "standard" delay/reverb. That's why I like to have 2 reverb on my pedal board. In ordre to have an ordinary reverb sound for rythmics and something more sophisticated for ambient sound, or part.

You may if you play around with the decay and mix controls maybe to the max. I use a boss rv6 and it comes with a setting called something like reverb modulation that gives you amazing reverbs but it cost 3 times what this sells for so get this one and give it a try...i'd do it.

in delay+reverb mode you can switch between delay and reverb by tapping this button...to adjust the parameters of each mode

djdt77 not really, a true bypass pedal won't afftect the signal chain even it has no power, means when its turned off, it wont suck your tone.

Not really. Buying this pedal may be very useful and convenient but nothing like having a delay pedal and a reverb pedal on your board because you can modify settings on one in a second without affecting the other. That's why i use the TC Electronic Flashback X4 which allows me to set 3 different delays and has a tap tempo switch among other wonders and for reverb i use the Boss RV6, such a wonderful pedal with all the features you need in a reverb. Having this one would be a plus in your board for obvious reasons or if someone can't afford other pedals this will still do the job if properly used. Rock on.
