Guys this magic was created in 1995..can you believe it..and the graphics part was handled by Lin Wood of Hollywood who worked for the legendary Terminator 2 movie..The producer of Ammoru roped him to make it the most pretigious movie of that time..What you watched is just a tip of the iceberg..There's tons and tons riveting, eye popping scenes throughout the movie.. IT's just a Technical brilliance and I would say Ammoru is atleast 10 times > Bahubalis ! Mark my words..

The reason why she take out his brain was that, in the previous scene the very villain would criticise/ challenge Amman in one part saying that he will take her brain out and offer it to Satan...so climax part she remembered that i guess....tatz y she squeezed out his brain and collect it in a bowl like her own offering.... One of my favourite movie of all time 1995 Amman (in tamil)... Amman best described as the most kindest to the good ones and a real nightmare to the bad/evil! AUM Shakthi Aum....சர்வம் சத்திமயம்!

This is the First Full Fledged VFX Work did on an Entire Indian Film History Ever, by *The Great Legendary Director Sri Kodi Ramakrishna Garu!* The Pride Telugu Film, which some greatest things to know about, 1)This movie gave Chills, Fevers to 'All' who watched in the Theatres at that time! Even my parents watched this & Experienced the same! 2) Actually, This Entire Climax was Shot in the Rich Red Color Grading which the Film Crew was Frightened like anything & removed that Red Color Grade in the Final Print for the sake of people! Imagine, if this regular color gave Fevers & Chills to all people, what would have been the result if it is released in the Original Rich Red Color Grade!!!!!!!! This imagination itself gives me instant Chills! 3) Actually, Kodi sir asked the Editor KV Krishna Reddy sir to how to achieve that multiple hands scene while killing, editor said that we need to send to London studios who worked for Jurassic Park kinda films, immediately sent the footage to London studios but VFX people replied that we can't achieve this kinda shot with the present technology! Then Editor KV Krishna Reddy Sir solved this & suggested some thing to director kodi sir which got impressed & completed the shooting, then sent that Original Multiple Hands scene with the Red Color Grade to the London Studios again! The VFX people got Shocked that How Indians did this without any Computer Technology & asked about the Secret, Editor replied that we did this by Shooting single hand one by one & mixed in editing the one after the other in the perfect timing! VFX people got amazed that this entire most complicated scene, which they felt impossible at that time technology, was achieved just by editing! This entire work was furnished in the Eenadu Telugu Newspaper! The Pride of Indian Cinema, Telugu Cinema, Kodi Ramakrishna Sir, KV Krishna Reddy Sir, The Maker Vitthalacharya (Maaya bazaar Telugu, The Best Movie in the Top 100 Indian Films of all time ever) were the Greatest boons to the Indian Cinema History Ever!☺️😊👍👌

As a Devotee of Mother Kali(depicted in the movie), it is quite disrespectful to watch this. Its like if I watched a good movie about Christianity and ridiculed it. The movie is amazing as well God (Kali). Please do your research to understand the concept of the beheading, weapons and dancing BEFORE you say ridiculous things like "Jesus has nothing to do with it". PLEASE RESPECT the oldest tradition in the world ! WAYY before Christianity and the social constructs created by it. Don't comment on Kali, the primordial energy is evidently way beyond your comprehension

First Indian movie that introduced Graphics to Indian Cinema. That final shot of goddess with 8 hands behind and so on took a whole week to shoot. Director is Kodi Ramakrishna, same one who directed Anji and Arundhathi movies all of them are based on graphics. He is one of the best directors who got some unique way of taking shots and utilizing the latest technology.

Wow! Watched this film as a kid in 1995. Watching this scene again in 2020, I am baffled how cool the graphics have been for a 1995 regional film. I'd say "Gold Standard" back then. Better than many of the graphic films of recent past. Particularly the fire around her when she dances with the Trishul. Damn good.

She is mother goddess...She balances world with killing evil and saving innocents....

Some of the symbolism here is that the goddess represents Shakti or Durga. Durga had to fight a demon named rakta beeja who had a boon. Every drop of blood that would fall from him on the ground would give rise to another one of him. So Kali came forth from Durga's realized this and slew him and consumes his blood so that no drop falls on the ground. And then she dances on his corpse. She holds a plate under his severed head so that the blood does not touch the ground. The head is also supposed to represent human ego.

Personally. I'm a hindu. Goddess kali killed many demons. Its in our scriptures. But in our world she will never do this. Do not mistake this movie to be the reality. The movie portrays her power and martial skills. Her fierce form to annihilate evil. But in reality it's our karma who will decide our self and destiny. She is here like jesus to guide us on the right path. She will protect us against evil within ourselves. If you support good she walks with you and help you. Death forms part of life. It's natural and inevitable. But we are all immortal in the sense that our soul are spiritual and never die. It is the body that dies. Hinduism is very vast. I have provided you with only 1 tiny portion of the knowledge. You can research about Hinduism on the net. About karma and dharma.

This is my favorite movie of all times and when I saw this video with the ammoru subtitles.... I was like what?? Comments on this movie. I just couldn't wait to see what these guys think. They think it's impressive... Ohh yeah she's impressive. Ramyakrishna who acted as goddess is an impressive actress to even today. This goddess in Hinduism is considered as universal goddess of destruction and also creation. She's highly believed and respected as not even the male gods r soo important before her. There's a story where she burns herself to ashes giving birth to three male gods creator, runner and destroyer of lives. She nurtures and grows them eventually she divides her soul into three different women to be those male gods wife. That's one of the reasons when the three wives disagree with their significant male gods they unite as one to be the universal goddess. She's definitely not to be messed around. I could have said the same thing as what the guy said as 'fucked around' but I consider myself puny in front of her and definitely can't use disrespectful words

As a telugu guy i can proudly say this film was made originally in telugu as "ammoru" in 1995 directed by the legend late director kodi ramakrishna,he used graphics with the help of american CGI experts 25yrs ago☺️☺️ later this movie dubbed into other languages like tamil as "amman"😊😊👍👍

This was my 1st non-Hindi Goddess movie which I had watched in my Childhood, the hindi dubbed title was -Maa ki Shakti ( the Power of Mother Goddess) , I loved this movie and I still love it, gives me goosebumps everytime. Today is the last day of Navratri, I was constantly thinking about this from past few days, and it suddenly appeared on RU-vid.

I might have seen this movie more than 30 times....I still get goosebumps when ever I watch.....I got them now as well......

Amman was a super duper hit movie. Most of the 80's /90's kids must had goosebumps & emotionally attached to this movie. The graphics was too good for this 1995 movie & i was so affected/ attached by this movie. What a fantastic movie.

Did you consider why she dances around when she was just trying to kill the guy?. It is because Indian gods are normally super cool and peaceful. And her being the mother goddess of everything she has to first get angrier so much that she loses control and only then she is able to kill the guy...why? Because even though he is evil he is still her child (figuratively, because she didn't birth him like a normal mother , she is the source of all creation) , and then you get to hear "Shanti Shanti Shanti hi", which is literally asking the angry goddess to cool down.

Hope you can understand the impacts of evils, which in India call Mahamaari , what's happening to the entire planet and how people are suffering because of corona virus nowadays, only our Supreme Mother Goddess AMMORU has to do something to save the earth. Unless we call her she'll never. This has what been explained in the introduction story of the movie .

Hindus don't appreciate talking about their goddesses in any way that can be disrespectful... Hindu goddesses are meant to be form of Durga, the mother of the universe and Hindus fear her as much as they love her. So, my suggestion is not to talk about Hindu goddesses in any casual way, it might hurt their sentiments and it's unnecessary.
