Brad, you NEED to fill up the generator and time it with the pocket watch and must keep it with you at all times so you know how long it is and you'll know when to refill it and the generator is a power link to the lights connected to the levers you pulled downwards

Bro, just turn the flashlight up to 2 to 3 times because the more you pull to turn on it can attract the monsters attention, and for the traps, you need to find some object like brick or whatever to throw at it and it's go off BUT I'll be loud the monster will be attracted to LOUD NOISES so beware if you ever think about using the Grenades

I'm not trying to be a hater but I'm genuinely confused. The game is literally repeatedly telling him that noice causes the monster to hunt him, then he cranks his flashlight like 8 times in a row, gets killed, and then asks "Was it because of the darkness?". I've followed this channel for many years but damn, Brad still surprises me sometimes.

He does it a lot unfortunately, it's gotten very noticeable and I stopped watching for a long time. Only so many times I can handle him doing the exact opposite of what he's been just told or fumbling around because of missing blatantly obvious things that even a rookie gamer should be able to pick out pretty easily. He is a great youtuber, but my God there's probably a reason he didn't create a competitive gaming RU-vid channel😂

If you keep cranking the flashlight you make alot of noise and the monster finds you by following the sound. It wont attack if the lights are on that's why you need the watch to keep track of the time left before the generator is out of fuel.

Love the content as always Brad. I think your first death was noise related though, as there was a note at the begining about the flashlight being noisy/dangerous to recharge. I could always be wrong, and hopefully this didn't come across as rude just trying to leave tips because this game does seem to have good sense of leaving you to figure it out.

From what I understand after playing the demo is that the monster is random with its a.i. It's either aggressive or quite the pacifist lol so sometimes you won't even encounter at all no matter how much noise you make. So each playthrough is different.

Remember the note "the fucker hates lights" on generator room? The monster will be more aggressive if the lights out. I don't play the game, but I watched several early access & demo of this game. Some RU-vidr use their logic that more lights will consume much fuel, they forgot that the generator connect to the pocket watch (works based on time). They end up turning off the lights and killed by the monster over and over again, yet still didn't understand what's really happened. 😂😂😂 I'm speechless & ROFL

Amnesia and the horror series you show - have been always SO captivating and the best coverage. I’ll try to watch other streamers/gamers who upload and - maybe I’m just too biased now but no one commentates, quiets for cutscenes and sounds soothing to me. I think the noisy flashlight mechanic is actually a really cool substitute for the sanity system in TDD. At the very least it's an interesting idea that they can develop in future games. Hopefully they keep innovating in the future. I'd love to see a sort of combination of this game's design philosophy and TDD's.

He's not even playing it right. You HAVE to make sure the generator is on at ALL TIMES, it's the whole point of the game. It turns the lights on thus makes it safer to explore. Instead Brad ignores it and runs around in the dark making his chances of dying even greater. Gottoa love it.
