Dude, its all about fun there will always be oppertunities to get it back if you loose it, should wait until u get ap for it because thats when its most effective and worth bringing.
best way that ive found is run with a squad or clan, they'll be reinforcements to help you kill and alert you if you're getting pushed, plus they can grab your stuff if you die and bring it back to you
