Arnulfo Briceño Contreras was a Colombian lyricist, composer, singer, choir director, lawyer and pedagogue who, despite being born in the Andean Region, stood out as a great exponent of llanera music.
Son of a carpenter, Pedro José Briceño and his wife Isolina Contreras, was born in Villa Sucre, Norte de Santander on June 26, 1938 and died in a plane crash on June 11, 1989. Singer-songwriter, Lawyer and Pedagogue.
He died a few days after I was born and I leave this beautiful song that I really liked, in honor of him.
