the music video was shot in Poland ... In the stronghold Jomsborg (Wolin). The actors from the music video are historical reenactors from "Drużyna Grodu Trzygłowa".

If I'm not mistaken, the singer has a historically accurate Viking shop online. I think it's called icey veins but I could be wrong.

Yes actually, I did. I used to be a viking reenactor some years ago and am always struck by the attention to detail and accuracy in these videos. Amon Amarth are the best band ever too and I have fought in a shield wall myself so I just love this song!

That might be due to the fact that Johan Hegg actually looks to the Poetic Edda among other sources of actual facts.

I like the TV show Vikings but it always puzzled me that the History Channel did it. That show does have a few things accurate but for the most part they messed a lot of the accuracy up.

In the Poetic Edda they actually talk about the Raid on Paris and Rolo wasn't there nor was Ragnar the one pretty much leading the raid. It was Bjorn who led the raid. It was his idea. They threw out a lot of historical facts and Poetic Edda facts. Still a good show.
