Man, Goff has some amazing receivers. Some pretzel body twisting going on to get to the ball. He is an accurate QB...Usually... Very Lucky to have them in this case.

As a Lions fan this is usually the time of the season when we have to start making excuses, complain about the refs and talk about looking forward to next year and getting a good draft pick. This team is, however, playing great and winning and Lions are getting mostly fair treatment by the refs. It is an unusual sensation, looking forward to the next game with enthusiasm and optimism for a genuinely good team. So, this is what it feels like to be able to cheer for a winning team.

Goff is still off on the deep ball to Jamo. He's gotta let it fly sooner. He had dude just flat out smokef on the route. Throw it early and trust him and let him run underneath it. Jamo getting 2 catches is big for the team going forward. However, the deep ball by Goff is concerning with using Jamo. Maybe just haven't seen it enough, but that was an ugly throw that Jamo had to really adjust and wait for. Could have easily been defended if the corner was looking for it.

With 6 games under his belt, I believe my naming of the OL & DL is more accurate than when I first suggested it a few weeks back. I only post here, because I told people a couple years ago to keep their eyes on Detroit. Not because your state has an idiot Gov., as would be the usual case cause the Lions sucked? But because I could see, what I've seen in both my teams, at different times- The Denver Broncos & SF 49ers. Not bad company. What I look for? TEAM Football. You don't need the best players in the world. You need the best TEAM. "Running QB's"? WAY over-rated. Btw, being able to scramble when pressures on and the chips are down? Does NOT make a QB a "Running QB". Great QB's LIVE in the Pocket, and let their Offense be who they are, while LEADING. That's what I see in Detroit. That's something to be proud of, along w/your very good... and maybe even soon to be "stellar", defense.
