The production of these episodes is flawless, they have a flow all their own. They were great as a kid and they are even better now.

This show always has a moral. My friend named his dive service Mystic Knights of the Sea. He had all the episodes. The intro music fires off endorfines in my brain. These are superior to any sitcoms of today,bare none.

As the decades pass (I was born in 1950) it becomes more and more evident how good these actors were. They are a welcome relief from today's politically correct mandate and these actors are utterly genuine. They did not have the advantage of stellar photography (like I Love Lucy did) and these youtubes were probably mere kinescopes. But the acting does come through much louder and clearer than the 'ridiculous racist chant' of the NAACP's utter nonsense. - David Lyga
@michaelklein5242

If you study the history of black performers, it will amaze one to find that many times, the NAACP actually impeded the careers of Ethel Waters, Lena Horne, Sammy Davis, Nat Cole and others.

Black people unlike Whites,do not indulge in " nostalgia;" however, we do " reminisce " and this series takes me back to youthfulness of mellow days and easy nights within " THE COLORED COMMUNITY "while STILL SHELTERED FROM THE ABOMINATIONS OF ABJECT HATRED AND HOSTILITY OF WHITE RACISM. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS SERIES WHICH CAUSES FOND MEMORIES OF MY FAMILY AND COMMUNITY LIVING , LAUGHING , AND LOVING TOGETHER .🙂👏

@@jimchristopher2340 YOU CAN NOT POINT OUT ANY FACTUAL AND TRUE HISTORY ABOUT "WHITE RACISM " THAT I WAS INACCURATE AND"GENERALIZED" ABOUT IN MY STATEMENT ! YOUR POST ,ACTUALLY,"REACTION; " IS BOTH TYPICAL AND INDICATIVE OF INDIVIDUALS WHO FIND ANY AND ALL FACTS, EXTRAPOLATION OF FACTS, AND TRUTHS ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE AND THEIR RACISM TO BE OFFENSIVE TO ONE"S EGO REGARDING THE "DECEIT" ABOUT THE CONDUCT AND SOCIAL INTERACTION OF WHAT YOU ,AND OTHERS LIKE YOU,HAVE AND HAVE NOT BEEN TO BLACK AMERICANS WHICH CAN BE DESCRIBED IN TWO WORDS - HONEST AND HUMANE ! P.S. BLACK PEOPLE HAVE VOTED FOR WHITES IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS BASED ON "CATEGORICAL QUALIFICATIONS" AND NOT "SKIN COLOR " WHERE AS YOUR POST ABOUT "WHITE VOTERS SHOWS OTHERWISE !!!

@@jimchristopher2340 that was already in our playbook of what whites would do to prove to themselves they arent racist amd are the true victims. Obama didn't do anything that would make white ppl upset. Had he ran on reparation he would have got almost no white votes. Obama was safe and litterally came out of no where. Planted.

Amos never gets as much dialogue as Kingfish and Andy.
@michaelklein5242
@michaelklein5242 Месяц назад
Amos was the wise, serious character, often serving as a "Greek Chorus" (i.e., setting up the audience for what's coming, etc.). The voice of logic and doing the right thing. He was the exact opposite of the Kingfish.
