This is a great show, with great actors and well written scripts. It still stands the test of time. It is head and shoulders above anything on TV today.
The end credits has Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher the men who wrote and produced Leave It To Beaver and The Monsters . Also Bob Ross who wrote and produced the latter episodes of the Andy Griffith Show .
What a nice show. I wish that we could turn back time and erase all the wrongs. But since it did happen, wouldn't it be nice if it was forgiven and forgotten?

It was taken off the air because the NAACP labeled it as racist. As not being an accurate portrayal of black people". They finally succeeded by threatening to boycott the sponsor, Blatz Beer.
@@alfredmartinez6166: But African-Americans were portrayed as lawyers, dignified preachers, judges, etc. It was a genuinely funny show because of great writing and acting.
@@chynnadoll3277 The secondary characters were dignified characters. The main characters were swindlers, dimwits, and harpies except for Amos who barely played a part in the television series.
