Love this video! At last we are given all the info in real depth instead of the first 11mins given over to describing the box and bottle. Amouage is a high-end perfumery and it's important to know as much as poss about their fragrances - this review really does that, thank you! Also, Christopher Chong was original creative director whereas Renaud Salmon took over a few years back, which might explain why the fragrances became less complex than the early ones? Each guy had their own take which gives us a lot more choice, I feel. Well done Ayesha!

Can’t wait to try it, everyone including me expected a polarizing fragrance from Amouage but I surprised us. I never would have guessed LDBS or Oriana vibe from Amouage.

I'm really keen to try this and your review has piqued my interest further 🙂 I love the sound of this based on your review, and am reassured at the performance based on your thoughts. Can't wait for my decant to arrive. I've been thinking for ages of adding an orange blossom scent into my collection as it's kind of crazy I don't have one, but I find LDBS too sugary. I really like Perdizione most out of those sweet orange blossom scents and almost pulled the trigger on it but haven't so far, so wondering if Love Delight will end up slotting in nicely. Plus - obviously - STUNNING bottle! Thanks again for such a thorough and informative review, this series is so well done!

I’m guessing a “like”! This may be the Amouage for for me 😅. You compared it to a few of my favorites and I really like the floral gourmand type of scents. I’ll definitely pick it up when I catch a sale. Great review❤

I could tell this was going to be a like. For the price I hope it turns into a love💝 It does sound beautiful but I would'nt pay full price for it rn. All my Amouage's were discounted except Guidance. Kinda unrelated, but because you mentioned Oriana, I just got it yesterday. I was never interested because of the LDBS comparisons and I have LDBS. When I say I'm happy to finally have gotten it in my collection, it's an understatement! SO different from LDBS on my skin and a hard love for me! I mean, like, YUMmmmmm, delicious🤤😋 LDBS is a lifer for me but it's not an edible scent on me like Oriana is!

I’m a little disappointed..when I saw the notes I thought this would be complex and different as well. It just sounded beautiful..the ginger and the booze along with the cinnamon and the jasmine 😩 for it to end up having the same scent profile as oriana? I will definitely still sample this one as I’m intrigued! 💕 I’m glad I waited for reviews before blind buying a fb

This was one was more of an intro to Amouage scent. Nothing too complex at all. I was not a fan of this scent, nice, but turned into more of a heliotrope jasmine on me. Ah yes, I can see an Oriana comparison with these two. But that one as well didn't work for me. For sure the same family tree.
I gotta say, the matte pastel bottles with the white tops are not working for me. They don’t look that special and honestly may just appeal to teens and adults in low twenties. I wonder if they buy full bottles though. I personally wasn’t paid enough back then to afford Amouage full bottle prices😂. I really love the metal tops. I’m a little sad they stopped those.
I like the matte bottles (as long as they don’t do that to all of their bottles)! I think the “In The Garden” collection is the only set of fragrances they changed.
I don’t think they smell alike, but I’m guessing people who like one will like the other. I don’t really smell florals in Princess, whereas with Love Delight, I classify it a floral as much as it is a gourmand.
I don’t own Safanad, but I have smelled it quite a few times. From memory, I would say that this is less orange blossom forward than Safanad and more gourmand than Safanad.
I just checked.. and one of them has it for 269 which is the lowest I have seen it so far and I don't think they charge tax if you are outside of NY. It's ediscountperfumes 🌸🌸
