i have used both and the 475 was a much better unit. our 475 got stolen at work and sold on ebay by one of our nightshift employees for 2350 bucks. Management was warned about that thief, but they claimed some people were exaggerating his thievery. i did without the 475 for 3 years, now we actually need a communicator, and the trex is what I got. I agree, pure junk. Damned sure isn't worth the 9 grand they paid for it. hell the really old 275 was better than this crap
475 out performs the AMS trex. Slow to load , I currently use my 475 versus the AMS trex. The trex loads slow and also found when using on a 3051s it has a draw on the loop which causes my pressure to be off. My unit has been sent in several times for firmware upgrades and still has not performed like they say. Not worth the money keep your 475! Buy a fluke 907H .
