It’s wild that you can tell the difference as soon as you drive the car after replacing the ATF with AMSOIL.

I wonder what it would look like if you mixed the Amsoil ATF in with Toyota WS and see what the results would be. This would be demonstrating folks who add Amsoil into their transmission with Toyota WS still in the transmission. Would be interesting to see the results!

Currently living in Japan and I swapped out my 2006 Toyota Crown 2.5L V6 (Same as Lexus IS 250) with this stuff. Highly recommend! Shifts are so smooth can’t explain in words. Highly recommend!

Changed my fluid on my 2021 telluride at 38,000 miles, it shifted fine before but OMG after I changed it out twice it shifts like butter now can’t believe it, I’m sold on it, I’ve always used amsoil in my cars and Harley but noticed the biggest difference in the tranny, spend the money you won’t be disappointed

Eben i am going to put Amsoil Signature Series Fuel Efficient Transmission Fluid in my 2008 Ford Focus that has 49,000 original miles / 79,000km this year or next. I originally changed the fluid & filter with OEM Motorcraft LV Transmission Fluid doing a drain & fill at 36,000 miles / 58,000km. . But even though i know the amsoil is technically superior , im nervous about switching-compatibility etc. I've done the research on this, but still nervous. Car shifts just fine at the moment.

Bought my Toyota new. I’m particular with stupid stuff, so I changed the oil & filter, as well as the WS fluid & filter, at 500 miles (figured it would get rid of any “break in” debris) Did the same again at 1,000 miles, 3,000 miles, and then 5,000 miles. The WS fluid didn’t look bad at any of those intervals. So I kept changing the oil & filter every 5,000 miles, and let the WS fluid go until I hit 30,000 miles. I do not drive the car hard, and at 30,000 miles, the WS looked horrible when I drained it. The WS fluid was no longer a nice “reddish pink” color, but more of a darker “blackish red” instead. At 30,000 I changed the filter, and switched over to the Amsoil “OE” low-viscosity synthetic ATF (blue capped bottles) The U760E has never shifted as smoothly as it does now. Most of the time you can’t even tell it shifts by “feel” you just notice the RPM change instead. Also no longer seems to be “hunting” for a gear, or have those sluggish “down shift” slips when going up steeper hills. I will leave the new Amsoil fluid in until I hit 60,000, and then change it again. I have no doubt it will last MUCH longer than 30,000 miles, but I am curious to see what it looks like in comparison to the factory WS fluid after the same amount of mileage. The Amsoil synthetic oil, and transmission fluid seems to be doing VERY well thus far. I’m happy with both.

The ATF fluid is great for making my car run so much better. Asking about price is important because the small cost difference is so little that going with Amsoil 100% synthetic is much better. Everything is about cost from cars to oils and fluids. Great video content showing the results of flow dynamics. That's why Amsoil is always testing products and developing new ones. How about high temperature applications, with the trans cooler not being included on newer tundras the fluid gets to higher Temps that Toyota claims is ok for the WS fluid.

@Syntheticoilprotection Great video! Am dying to use the Amsoil signature series in my car but am scared of my transmission blowing out. I own a 2016 Acura tlx 3.5l V6 with the ZF transmission. These transmissions are known to be extremely sensitive and require a special fluid only sold at Acura dealerships. I believe its the 3.1. I checked the Amsoil website and they don't list any of their oils for my car. Do you know if this will work for my car? It does list ZF on the spec sheet but there seem to be different ZF transmissions out there and I.dont know if mine qualifies. Please advice. Thank-you.

One question: My 2013 Honda Accord V6 has only 55k miles on it and I am looking into flushing the transmission fluid since its nearing 60k miles. Is it ok to switch to AMSOIL since there will still be some OEM fluid left in the transmission. I will take out all the OEM fluid through the radiator hose so I can get everything but I just wanted to make sure if the little bit of OEM leftover through the transmission isnt going to make hurt the transmission. Hello, Wow....that is an awesome product!. My car is Toyota Corolla 2009. 1.8 Liter cyclinder. My car is 56,000 miles right now. I had my car drained and filled first time for transmission fluid change from Toyota dealership. They poured in 3 quarts of 00289Aftws transmission fluid because they drained 3 quarts out. Is AMSOIL comparable to go into my car? If so, do I need to completely flush out the old oil out with new AMSOIL oil. Or it is okay to mix AMSOIL with old transmission fluid? Will it harm the transmission engine? Also what kind AMSOIL should I use? I saw different ones: OE, XL, and Signature series. I greatly much appreciated your opinion on this. Thank you!

I’m about to do two drain and fills with amsoil in my high mileage 2006 Lexus IS which I’m pretty sure has never had a trans service except for when I did a 3 quart drain and fill 4 months ago, but I am asking would it be best to drop the transmission pan and wipe down the inside and take out the transmission filter, or will just doing two drain and fills and draining the overflow be ample enough with amsoil, I have the atf just waiting for some time to get it done at the shop I work at and I’m trying to see if it will be better or worth doing to drop the pan, also I don’t want to risk snapping bolts holding it

Safe to mix the fluids? Since in the toyota transmission is sealed but can be flushed and refilled. Its just about 4 quarts at a time. But holds about 12 quarts. So thinking of doing a flush every 10k till most fluid is amsoil.

I have a 99 es300 with the U140E transmission. I want to do a pan drop and filter change and run amsoil fluid. Would this be a good idea seeing as how a pan drop only relives the fluid in the pan?

I’m due for my transmission fluid change on my 2006 Tacoma Prerunner and the pervious owner had it done at the dealership with Toyota genuine WS. I just ordered AMSOIL Signature Series to clean the transmission pan, replace the transmission filter. My question is: Would it be safe to add the 5qts or so of AMSOIL although there is still some Toyota Genuine WS? I do plan doing a Drain & Fill in a month or so again to get closer to having 100% AMSOIL

I have a 2009 toyota corolla 1.8 L Automatic Transmission with 175k miles. The original owner changed the fluid at 80k miles (I don't know if he used Toyota WS or something else), so I want to change the transmission fluid to AMSOIL. Is it ok to do a drain and refill with AMSOIL first and then change the fluid again after 30k miles or later again? Or do you have a better option?

Great video Eben! I really liked the screwdriver demo to show how thick and actually hard the “ FLUID” is when that cold. It really makes you think about how hard it must be on your engine and transmission. Keep the videos coming. It’s just to bad that Amsoil doesn’t have a Subaru approved CVT fluid. I have a 2020 Subaru Outback. All of the research that I’ve done, the major consensus is DO NOT use anything but genuine Subaru CVT fluid.

Still amazed that there would be a difference for cold flow performance for transmission fluid because I always used to think that transmission fluid was transmission fluid. Also, got some Amsoil transmission fluid in my old Crown Victoria and it does shift better than when it had the cheap stuff the shop that serviced it put in (I am assuming they put in universal fluid that meets the specs of Dexron 2, which is what the vehicle was designed for, but it is a conventional fluid).

I purchased two Scion XB models after years of owning unreliable vehicles. One has 303,000mi and the other has 170,000mi. both when bought had an issue with reverse. When backing up the gear slips when under load or acceleration, doesn't have a problem if backing slowly on a level surface just when backing up hill or accelerating quickly while backing. Have been driving them regularly for about two years and have made sure not to aggravate the problem by trying to accelerate quickly or back uphill and the problem has not seemed to get worse. I have no Idea what the previous maintenance on these transmissions has been. While hot the dipstick reads bottom line. What should I do? Change the fluid, or just top it off and leave it alone? I don't know much about transmissions, I greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks.
