Amsterdam-Oost to Leidseplein 

Another gentle ride around Amsterdam with #TheDoodle on a tandem. This time from Amsterdam East to Leidseplein where you can find the lizards.
There are also lots of "cycle streets" here which have been used to convert narrow one-way carriageways that flank tram routes and in other locations from traffic lanes with a painted cycle lane to red-paved cycle streets where in theory, cycle traffic has priority (although not in law as yet).
Cycle streets are meant to be part of the main cycle network with way more cycles than general traffic, but some of the ones in Amsterdam really have too much traffic still.
