This time, I went to Berlin, Germany. I rode the ICE train in 1st class from Amsterdam, enjoying the beautiful views along the way. Upon arriving in Berlin, I explored the vibrant city center, visiting iconic landmarks like the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. After a day of sightseeing, I retreated to a capsule hotel, which felt like a secret base!

why did you took this way to travel to Berlin instead of the direct train?

I was very lucky. At that time, there was a strike in Germany about trains and better conditions. I got offered a detour from Amsterdam to Berlin. It took a little bit longer, but I got to take 2 ICE trains. The best part was that I got refunded almost 50% of the money because of the delay!
