AMSTERDAM Travel Guide | 15 top things to do + Red Light District 

These places should be nice locations to add to my must visit bucket list, traveling is just so much fun, I am really happy I was introduced to mr. Alberto Javier, I must say, financially he turned my story around.

This is all just the most touristy stuff everyone does. My advice; get an Airbnb in a canal building and dont start off on a big tourboat instead share a barge w some people and it will have a host who will serve drinks and knows the history of the city. There are a lot of Museums in the city but my recomendations would be the Moco museum, and Foam museum, the van gogh museum and the rijksmuseum. The best theaters are the Carré, the Delamar, the Tuschinsky, Frascati, the Movies, Rialto. Go work out in the Olympic stadium or have a swim at the marine terrain, the largest skatepark in the country can be found on Zeeburgereiland. You can get single lessons at Amsterdam dance center in whatever style you want and Sin city Boxing sells single lessons as well i believe. Trendy areas to stroll through include the Jordaan, the Pijp, the Eastside and the NDSM terrain and there are thriftshops all around. For food i'd recommend kapitein Zeppos, Proeflokaal a.van Wees, Foodhallen, Mama Kelly, Moon, Barrouge, de Vergulden eenhoorn, Kaia Comteporary Greek, the Butcher restaurant de kroon, restaurant de Waag, restaurant Stork or restaurant de Kas . For drinks i'd reccomend the supperclub, Alto, Madame, the Shelter, Thuishaven, Paradiso, Melkweg, the waterhole, Hangar, de Ceuvel Oliva, Duke of Tokyo, club Nyx, tales and spirits, brouwerij de Engel, Soho house and the top floor of the volkshotel. If u wanna smoke weed i reccomend Boerenjongens or DNA or prix d'ami.

far too many tourists if you really want to see something of the Netherlands I recommend Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Delft. and if you stay longer in the Netherlands, go to Valkenburg, Groningen, Leeuwarden and Zwolle. Take the train and see more than just Amsterdam.

Been Amsterdam twice and going for a third time in November, a lot of people say this city is overrated but to me it’s the perfect mix of everything for everyone from music and festivals, food, to history and for the obvious reasons drugs and red light district. And it’s a place you can visit the once of multiple times it’s definitely a must on the bucket list

The Netherlands is a heavily populated nation that was partially submerged by the water and has around 50% of its land below sea level. Most visitors to the Netherlands simply come to see Amsterdam. Holland, however, has a lot to offer outside of its city. With its network of canals, the country's flat terrain is ideal for cycling and is dotted with charming old towns and traditional windmills. The flower gardens transform into popular tourist destinations in the spring, offering a striking display of vibrant colors.

This is a very charming city, I hope I can return to visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

I was in Amsterdam last weekend. Really just passing through on my way to a festival in Arnhem so only had about 8 hrs in the city, but I am sold! Def coming back next year and plan for at least a weekend in Amsterdam! I can recommend going there in late November, since they are really good at Christmas decorations and I really think this is a city that is "best served cold"

Square. Love Amsterdam. I didn't go to red light district because my friend was not well. I walked past Anne Frank house as line was too long. We went to a lesser popular museum, the boat and many other things. There were interesting gift shops.

Myself and my mate went there a few years ago. First night went drinking in every bar in the red light district. The next day went walking through the city and got lost. We accidently ended up in the red light district again. We did the same thing again. Great fun but probably should have checked out some more of the city LOL

I think my hotel was beethoven. In Paris we were in a best Western. Houseboats are cool Smart cars are cute. Have fun and success always.

About 65% of ALL flowers sold in the whole world on any given day are sold at the Dutch flower (and plants) auctions! There are basically just two auction organisations, although one has five locations. The vast majority of flowers are exported and they can be out of the country within a couple of hours of their auction sale. At 4 in the afternoon you can buy a bunch of roses in New York that were auctioned off at 5am that very morning in Holland. The Dutch flower trade is mindboggling, although not all flowers in fact come from Holland. There are Kenyan and Israeli growers, for instance who send their flowers to Holland for auction.

Thanks for the update on the canal tours. With headphones in the language of your choice. Wish they had that option when i was there. Also Anne Frank's house. I was there in the month of July and just walked in, no crowds, actually very few people. I'm guessing that could be a season thing. Noted that fries & pan cakes are more expensive that cannabis started kit.

WOW! I just finished watching your latest episode back on the boat where you show the cost of living at under 5$, then I see this episode and you spend 20$$ on fries/chips!! Each!! But Amsterdam is one fascinating place, been there in 2008. I have stories from there that I still tell to this day. Great times.

Ok I have gone on 2 trips to Amdam , 1996 for 15’days and 12 days in 2019. No where in Holland is weed legal. It’s a tolerated substance that by loop hole can be sold and used UNDER the street level. That’s why all “coffee” shops are below street level. We stayed in Air B and B house boat at City Centrum. It’s not all about the weed and legal prostitution. Actually for weed you want to visit California or Colorado. Amsterdam crowds didn’t get into the big THC battle , they kept their strains original . The museums are here it’s at , and the food is far beyond any where else you will find. Great place to visit and thE Dutch are amazing people
