Just 2 cents. Volvo buses use torque converter which is much more superior automatic transmission. And the downshift engine noise is present because of wet clutch letting the transmission catchup with increased engine speed.
Reset the trip meter and do not press hard accelerator after red light or when starting the car try to move the car slowly also do not press brakes unneccessary
I am proud to be Tata customer but I am atterally disappointed my Tata nexon petrol vehicle in mileage. I am BUYING new Tata nexon vehicle XZA+ AMT 18-02-2022 , main reason vehicle mileage giving in City drive 7 to 9 kilometres per litre, Highway drive 11 km per litre I am so many times of complaint send Tata service centre, THERE IS NO RESPONSE, I am very very attorney disappointed in my Tata nexon XZA+ AMT
Sunroof variant comes with some additional features like automatic wipers and headlamps also it comes with steering mounted controls if they are needed the go for it otherwise in particular sunroof is not that beneficially
Amt quality is good. I bought Nexon Xma when it was just released in 2019. I drive a lot , long trips etc but I hate driving so automatic turned out to be great. I even took my car to manali lahaul, auli, chopta all hill areas and never faced any issue mostly in automatic. Only few times ever I used manual mode

Also delhi jaise big city ke jam me AMT ki value pata chalti hai.. left hand left leg dono free rehte hain. My brother has i10 manual. Wo ab sab long trip pe meri Nexon AMT le ke jaata hai :)
Bhai, i have XMAS, planning to get touchscreen but showroom guy saying 30k, if i get it outside they are saying that warranty will be void. What should I do? Is it true that warranty will be void
Yes warranty will void if any damage occurred due to the wrong fittings of the touchscreen although the Xmas system is very good and I am using for more than one year also you can get original Tata infotainment system from Boodmo. You can do one thing after fitting the touch screen add that into your insurance so that in case of theft and accident you will get that money but Tata company will not repair and May void the warranty
Go for it. I have tata nexon xma 2019 model. Touchscreen gimmick hai bhai. Mere cousin ke paas top model hai. Features are good but not worth extra money. Instead spend that on petrol and go for long trips :)
I have a Hyundai creta top model, and I recently tested out my friends Tata Nexon automatic. I only have one thing to say. I am glad I went with Hyundai creta. Amt sucks😂
@@arjunmohandas8870 matter of fact I have previously owned Tata harrier, and the automatic transmission was so jerky and rough. Indians don’t know how to make a good transmission that’s for sure.

How much difference in mileage, i am confused with manual and AMT..i made my mind for nexon... is it worth to spend 50k for amt ? and drive in mix of city and highway 50-50 ..Driving is not fun for me, and I keep speed in limits, I just need a comfortable ride with decent mileage and pain of repair should not be there..pls suggest
As you are saying you drive in limits then the jerks you feel will be minimum and the mileage some time I got more in Amt also if you drive with single leg then there will be no repair cost as the car will take care of all the shifting. I have driven my nexon in ludhak region in sports mode and for entire trip I got average of 13kmpl. But do test drive once before driving

Help! I have same Nexon Model XMAS but getting pretty bad mileage 10.6 City 11.5 Highway Odometer 1400 Kms How you guys getting 16-18kmpl on automatic? I drive in City mode. I drive on light foot, my Creta gives me 14 kmpl in city and 17.5 kmpl on Highway.
To be honest in city that's the max you can get in the city. I live in Mumbai which has the one of the worst traffic. I barely get 9-10 in city even after running 7k kms. In the highway I can get 18kmpl. Conclusion is that this car is meant to be driven fast and mileage struggles at lower speeds. Workaround for this is to use manual mode and change gears early at the allowed speed.
Bro if you drive Nexon automatic in the city in the manual mode , how much mileage do you get. I am planning to go for the same variant (xma +s ), just worried about the mileage, that too in a congested city like Bangalore
You will get almost same milega may be less because you can not shit gears according to you. It will allow you to shift when certain rpm then only you can shift.
@@rajibsingh8886 I am seeing improvement in mileage especially when you have to drive at lower speeds like 40-50 in decently moving traffic. In bumper to bumper the mileage will only drop.

Agar car apne app fast chal rahi hai to wo gear up nahi karegi. Apko thoda khud accelerate karna padega tabhi gear up hoga nahi to App ek kaam aur kar sakte hai manual par shift krke jis gear par rakhna chahe wo rakh sakte hai
@@MyMotorGaadi Ultimately wohi kiya maine. Pehle neutral pe shift kiya, lekin risky ho gaya tha, to manual pe chalayi. Ye sirf ek do bar hi hua tha, jab bohot steep slope thi. Uske bad pure raste amt mode pe mast chal rahi thi.

Bhai ye le to li hai but 1st gear ke bad second gear dalne mein bahut time lagta hai 7 ki speed per lock nahi hona chahiyr ye glitch hota hai 15 tak 2nd gear mein nahi jati very bad for its software It sh not locked at 7 only At least 12 tak to jana banta hai Traffic mein 8 ke speed ke bad ya to bhagti hai slowly movr nahi karti Bus man ko samjhalo jitna samjhana hai
@@himanshisharma3052 any response from service center? It's too low for city mode. How much u get if you switch to eco mode? my cousin has Nexon manual. He gets 2km more mileage than my AMT petrol.
In my new Xmas, after resetting trip A, I got 14.8 avg on 650kms (city,highway, ghat) and multiple driving modes city, eco and sports. And also my odo avg also increased from 8 to 13.2 total odo 900kms.
