By popular request, I am back with another train video...this time aboard America's Fastest Train - The Acela Express. I've long wanted to try out this express train service between Washington D.C. and Boston ever since I had an interest in trains, so doing this on a relatively light travel day really hit the spot. I also wanted to try these older Acela trains before the new ones come in soon and while they are noticeably older and a bit worn, it was still a fantastic experience. The only downside to the Acela Express is the obvious slow sections of track it has to go through...and there are A LOT of them which really eats away at the "express-ness" of the ride. But, it is still the fastest train in the USA so it does earn that title. The Acela is also the country's 2nd most used train route, second to the cheaper Northeast Regional, so I commend Amtrak for looking to upgrade their most premium product. Hope you guys enjoy this high speed ride on the rails!
