PART 1 of our train journey from New York to Montana. We are going way of the Amtrak Lake Shore Limited Viewliner from New York to Chicago in a roomette. Car 4911.
Departed NY on Oct 31 at 3:40pm and arrived to Chicago at 9:50am on Nov 1. So it was about 18hrs in all.
The journey unfolds through the heartland of America, traversing the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana, before culminating in the vibrant cityscape of Chicago.
